"Landan and Roger Krumlauf came out and did a thorough job of measuring the rooms. They discovered that some rooms had multiple layers of flooring below the existing flooring. Something a well known national installer didn't notice. After I had the vinyl flooring and carpet delivered, Landan set up with me the days to have the installation take place. Landan and Roger and the rest of their crew showed up on time each day and cleaned up after themselves as they worked and at the end of each day. Landan made sure any questions or concerns I might have had were addressed. While installing the flooring, they discovered a plumbing problem I was unaware of. They fixed the subfloor in this area and I was able to get a plumber in that night to fix the issue they found. Krumlauf Floors estimated it would take them 3 days to do this job and they had it done in just 2 days. Landan, Roger and the rest of their crew were a pleasure to have in my home. They worked well together as a team and made what can be a stressful situation very enjoyable. The 1st and 2nd floors they installed look great along with the new carpet on both sets of stairs. I would highly recommend Krumlauf Floors to anyone in this area looking for new flooring to be installed. The price was fair and the results were fantastic. They exceeded my expectations."

"There aren’t enough characters here for me to express the utter joy I experienced in working with Ramos Timber. Jorge Ramos and his crew went above and beyond for my renovation project in every way. I hired Ramos Timber for a full remodel of my family home. The home had not been updated since the mid 1970s. I planned to convert my home into an investment property so it remains in my family. My grandmother and aunt purchased this home when I was an infant. The home contains many beautiful memories that we’ve passed along to our children through years of family visits, dinners and holidays. Needless to say, this renovation project was not only near and dear to my heart, it was also imperative that my contractors completed the project in a timely manner as the home would be rented to tenants after completion. Jorge Ramos with Ramos Timber came highly recommend from multiple clients that had used him for various home renovations and projects. Jorge and his Project Manager, Teresa, were invaluable in helping me make decisions that balanced both style and stay within my budget. Their expertise made the process much easier. The on-site team—Ian, Josh, and Joe—were professional, respectful, and highly skilled. Their subcontractors were incredibly courteous, punctual, efficient and thoughtful in how they left the job site (very clean and tidy). Jorge and his team were always communicative; responsive and checking in with me every step of the way. Both Jorge and Teresa went above and beyond to address any small issues with solutions and options. This gave me a lot of confidence and assurance throughout the project. In addition, Ramos Timber uses the software program, BuilderTrend. This allows clients to track progress, view updated pictures, pay invoices and archive important documents. Ramos Timber beautifully transformed my 1970s family home into the stunning, modern home I had envisioned. I attached before and after pictures. They are true artists! Their craftsmanship, attention to detail, customer service and overall integrity are unmatched. "My husband and I were so patient, and gave BRC every opportunity and benefit of the doubt. A few warnings for others: ~The staff will not show up, we the customer had to follow-up half way into the day to see if they are showing up. ~A timeline of 1-2 weeks took 5 weeks Honestly it’s still not complete. An example is the ceiling. We can see the drywall through the coating, but we don’t even want to deal with it anymore. ~The carpet was not what we wanted, AT ALL. We text the owner pictures and got something completely different. Also, the cheapest pad when we asked for the thickest they make. We weren’t shown the carpet choice until they already installed it. The owner said due to the pandemic selection was limited. ~The owner lost the paint chip. We had to find a new one for the contractors. ~Left dry pieces in the utility closet that we now have to dispose of. ~Some special design over the sump pump was to be removal, only the top lid removes. Replacing will be a blast. ~The final straw the the final day the finishing touches (after already being finished) was due to take place. It was a he said, she said, who was coming show. Finally at 4pm someone arrived. ~Even better is the owner and manager has not contacted for a follow up from being complete. He has not done a final walk thru. We made the mistake of paying him before it was finished. Quality=average after requesting multiple fixes. They did not self identify any issues. The company over promises and under delivers."

"From the moment Jim showed up for the estimate, I could tell he was someone I wanted to work on my home. He took his time measuring, was quick to give a quote and responsive to all questions throughout the process. On the day of installation, he and Jerry arrived as they said they would – and for the rest of that week, they came on time and did their work. Exactly what a homeowner wants. There were no calls to say, “Hey, we’re running behind on another job.” They did what they said they would do. Now, for the results. As a Real Estate Appraiser, I've seen plenty of shoddy work from sub-par contractors and I am pleased to report there was no sub-par work here. The floors came out beautifully. Smooth, straight and without error. The trim work was exceptional as well. (Though they caulked the joints and nail holes on the woodwork, do be prepared to add a bit of spackle and a dab of paint – which would need done regardless of who installed the trim.)
