"We contacted two companies that repair concrete. The only thing they wanted to do was tear out the entire porch and replace the concrete. One told us we needed to contact some type of handyman to brace up the roof because they do not do that. I contacted Handyman Connection who sent out Steve. He suggested patching the bad spot then covering the entire porch with an epoxy coating. He would use a color that complemented the rest of the house. He used Olympic Rescue It. <br /> He explained how the Handyman Connection works. They only provide labor  and we were responsible for materials. He would go to Lowes to pick up the proper stuff. They then called us for a credit card number.  <br /> What he suggested was exactly what I thought should be able to be done. After talking to Steve for over an hour I could tell he knew what he was doing. He carved the blue whale at the zoo which he could not figure out  why they wanted it since they do not have any whales.  <br /> He coated the entire porch to below the soil line and ran a thick bead of sealant around where there porch connected to the house. <br /> The color really looked good. <br /> Steve is in high demand so you may need to wait a few weeks for him to get to you. <br />"

"Barry did a variety of things at our home. Gutter, siding, window and door repair. Drywall repair and painting. He even repaired our bathroom exhaust fan which we thought we would need to replace. "We found water leaking from the water heater. Just by chance. So he just jumped in and replaced it. All Good. He originally came to replace a bath room fan with an upgrade that has a heater. I had purchased a unit long ago ,still in the box, so he proceeded to install it, He informed me that it was wired directly but need a part ordered for it. I decided to purchase another new one ,which I did. He left the crawl space open. He left the new wire to the fan hanging in the crawl with no staples. He mounted a used switch on the wall for the heating part of the fan. It was not at the same height and was a cream colored switch with a white cover. On the other wall the fan switch and light switch were not separated. They now are. I bought a new switch and had it put in. I bought another new Heat switch and cover and mounted it. I still have not stapled the wire up. I will in the future. I will put the crawl cover back on and replace the TV . I asked for a receipt and he said the water heater from Menards was around 900 dollars and would give me a receipt. Never did but on the phone he said in text he would try to find it. I'm still waiting. The company did work to resolve any problems we had and they did take care of everything."
