"We were replacing a huge amount of tile and old carpet in our home. Face of Wood was the medium bid but we had a very poor impression of the low bid person. He seemed unprofessional and seemed to constantly say "no problem" without really even looking at what we were looking for. So we hired Face of Wood. From the very beginning, they were great to work with and very patient with us as we went through wood selection and working with us on the budget. They finished today and did an outstanding job. This is the 3rd home we've installed wood floors in and by far the best. Wood floors are all the same right? What makes them different? It's the small details. Some examples, we used variable width planks and they spaced them very well. The baseboards were put back in great shape. The closets had built in shelving and they were able to actually remove portions to install the flooring underneath instead of a bunch of cuts. That is all good and what you should expect from any quality installer. What makes them great is their ability to go above and beyond. We had 3 very large entertainment centers/built-ins that we wanted removed. I spent weeks trying to find someone to haul them off. Face of Wood came to the rescue and arranged to have it all removed at no additional cost. Our garage door was mis-aligned and would stick shut. They fixed the door on their own. There was a small dent in one of the wood planks that I was hesitant to even mention. After a brief mention, they replaced the plank that same day and never made me feel like I was being too nit-picky. Will definitely use them for all our wood flooring needs. While working on floors, we also discovered they do kitchens with the subdivision Face of Kitchen. We hired them for a kitchen remodel as well. That project is still in progress but so far, we are getting the same level of professionalism and quality work."

"One thing I have unfortunately learned from doing renovations in Miami is that it is very hard to find a good/reliable contractor. Mick and his team were incredible. Mick helped me from from beginning to end. He did the estimate himself, which was extremely clear and his prices were beyond fair. "Our floors look incredible. We're very happy with how quickly the demo for the existing tile and installation of new tile went. There were a few bumps in the process but Dimas was very responsive in helping resolve any issues. The contractors left our house pretty messy (with dust, nails, trash) and we had to ask them to come back out a few times to clean up. Dimas ended up sending out a separate cleaning company to clean up which we were very happy with. Our biggest issue was the state they left our newly painted walls in. We had just painted our entire house before having our floors installed (in hindsight I definitely don't recommend doing things in this order) and they left them with several scrapes and dings in each room. We now have to have our entire house repainted. They didn't really take responsibility for the condition of the walls and even said it wasn't their fault. For those of you who have just painted or don't plan on repainting after flooring installation, I'd caution you with using this company. Otherwise, they did a great job with our floors."

"Derek works with the best of the best. Great attention to detail and reasonably priced. This is an in progress and then finished photo of some 24x48 in tile I recently had his people install. They were quick and even worked on Christmas Eve in order to have our home ready for entertaining on Christmas Day. I have also worked with Derek on other construction related projects including drywall and plumbing. Derek is always communicative, reliable, and courteous. As both a landlord and homeowner, Derek is always my first point of contact when I have any repair or renovation project pending."

"Erick was friendly and professional. He gave me a written estimate which was the final price I paid. He arrived as promised with a helper and got right to work. They replaced a cracked undermount sink and matched the existing sink perfectly. Other companies shied away from working with the granite countertop. They also replaced a section of fence and gate. Both jobs were done perfectly on the same day and they cleaned up after themselves. Not a scrap to be seen. I would hire him again in the future."
