Every review mentions Eugene because you are dealing with the owner and not just some sales rep. In one day his crew replaced my roof, replaced two skylights and installed new gutter guards. They worked like a well-oiled machine and did a great job. If you need a new roof, stop wasting your time searching for roofing companies and just give Eugene a call. P.S. When deciding on the best shingle color, make sure you first see the big samples in person. I almost ended up with a "blue" roof even though the color I had originally picked was gray. Here’s were Eugene saved the day for me by stopping by with samples and showing me how gray can sometimes look blue."

"As a result of 2 torn knee ligaments, steep step down made this access very painful. Tom came over almost immediately to fully understand the job. He took measurements and helped me find a cost effective solution he could deliver. Pictures explain the job better, see before and after. Also, he made some great suggestions, like measuring the length of the car, and making the raised landing (approx. 6 feet square by about 5 inches high) a natural car stop (tells me when I have pulled in fully). Now, the 2 steps are easy to negotiate, and the garage floor is flush with the exterior door out to the yard (garage exit, see replaced white door). I would recommend Tom with zero reservations. Very easy to communicate with, great listener, takes immense pride in his work and really solved a big problem for me. He is appropriately friendly and very professional. It is also worth mentioning I called others to get a quote, and most didn't want to even bid, because the job was 'too small' (concrete needed to be mixed manually, didn't use a concrete mixer truck). Tom seemed to empathize with my knee discomfort and tried to get the job completed as quickly as possible. In fact, he stayed until nearly 9p to get the concrete poured. As a result of this huge lifestyle improvement, since this entry way is my primary access inside , from the attached garage, and also used several times a day to let dogs out, I am able to manage my knee discomfort and postpone inevitable surgery. "I definitely recommend APR for flat roofing needs. They did a complete rip and replace of a 500+ sq ft flat roof at my home in La Grange. They were not the low bidder. However, the value was evident. Not only did they install a new torch down roof, but they repaired a significant amount of water-damaged soffit and installed new gutters instead of just re-installing the old gutters, as many suggested. They pointed out several areas of concern that led to the failure of my old roof. And to my surprise, they were able to mobilize a large crew and complete the entire job in one day, including clean up. I talked to many roofing contractors before choosing APR, and I couldn't be happier with my choice."

"A&D replaced our parent's aged roof. Darek came a good distance to provide a free estimate. He explained thoroughly the work that his company would complete, as well as why it needed to be done. He offered material options and encouraged us to seek additional estimates for comparison purposes. A&D was extremely responsive with followup communication. When reaching out with questions, their response time to our inquiries was extremely fast. A&D followed through on all of their promises. A large work crew showed up on time and completed a complete tear off, down to the rafters, installed sheathing, ice & water shield (72 in.), all underlayments and shingles. They were done with the job, in it's entirety, by 5:00 p.m. Darek and Maciej spent several hours at our house, overseeing and working alongside the crew. They met all terms of the agreement and went above and beyond - sealing gutter end caps that were leaking and installing attic baffles, without asking for additional compensation. Afterwards, the crew spent time cleaning up the perimeter of our home, leaving no material wrappings or nails on the ground. Darek visited our parents' home the day after the roofing work, to ask if we had any questions and if we were pleased. "They were great to work with. Their attention to detail was exceptional. Their communication was also excellent - they would text me each day and let me know what time they would be there. "After reviewing several roofing companies on Angi and elsewhere, as well as one family recommendation, we went with Seidel to have all the singles, underlying materials, and gutters replaced on our ~ 25 year old home. The first thing to know about this company is that Udo is a knowledgeable professional who is happy to answer any questions leading up to the job, and assist with things that can be challenging, like getting permits or working with HOAs. During the work he checked in multiple times and even supplied some photos of the roof while the crew was up there, to confirm boards were all OK. In short, he doesn't miss details and does a great job communicating throughout. We went with a higher grade of shingle and supporting materials, and so far (after 30+ days and several storms) the overall quality looks great. I don't anticipate any issues through the coming winter, but will update should anything warrant it. Can fully recommend Seidel and we are also likely to use them for a siding project, based on our positive experiences with the roof."

"In May 2020, A&D Exteriors completed 2 large projects for my wife and I: 1) they replaced our asphalt shingle roof, and 2) they installed vinyl siding to replace our cedar siding. We are extremely pleased with how both projects turned out! Kevin Kowalski was the project manager for both projects, and he was a pleasure to work with. He came to our house to evaluate what we wanted done, and he emailed us detailed proposals for each project. The prices were very competitive, and we signed the proposals to move forward. From start to finish, Kevin kept us informed about the status of things, and he always answered our questions promptly. A&D Exteriors also has a designer, Heidi, and she came out to give us her ideas, including helping us choose colors. The roof replacement was done first, and it was completed in 1 day. Eugene was the foreman of a large crew of 7. They came at 7:30am and were done at 3:30pm. Importantly, the crew did a terrific job of cleaning up. Something we particularly liked was that they didn’t put a fixed dumpster in our driveway, they used a dump trailer on wheels to avoid doing damage to the driveway. The dump trailer was dropped off the night before, and was taken away the same day after the roof replacement was finished. The siding project was next, and Arthur was the foreman of a crew of 2. The 2 of them did an amazing job putting up the vinyl Board and Batten vertical siding and the LP SmartSide engineered wood trim to closely match the existing look of our Tudor style house. The work was completed in 4.5 days, and the house looks great! They also did a thorough job of cleaning up. We give A&D Exteriors our highest recommendation!"

"Hired Last Stop Roofing to complete a roof job started but not completed by home owners. All materials provided. Last Stop Roofing provided the labor and expertise to complete the job. Job entailed replacing rotted plywood under shingles, repairing rotted truss ends and replacing rotted facia boards in addition to putting down materials and shingles to complete the job. Price was reasonable. Workers were experienced and efficient. Customer service was great. Highly recommend this company."
