They wrapped everything up nicely (they were also very handy with their bubble-wrap, even using it as a doorstop when going in and out for easier access), deconstructed furniture with ease, and overall made the job look so easy!"

"I do not normally use Angi for referrals unless i'm despirate. It seems most of their recommendations do not fit my needs or are available. But I am posting this review because Monroe Moving is ion Angi and I want everyone to know how great they are. From the first phone call to the sales office to when the truck pulled away from the delivery home, Monroe Moving was great. Literally, every step of the process was incredible. The ZOOM call with courteous help setting it up, the estimate dead on and the crew. The crew was on time (actually 15 minutes early), called before they arrived, walked the entire house, took notes and then went to work. This was not an ordinary move the furniture was going to three different locations at the delivery point. They packed the truck so that when they arrived it was all sorted out. That's efficient. Not one ding of a ceiling or door frame and navigated the stairs like the professionals they are. Wrapped and packed the antiques, asked when they were unsure, and worked tirelessly. When they finished loading the truck, they had some paperwork to do, so I left to go to the destination 60 miles away. They arrived 5 minutes after I did. No lunch stop, no nonsense. Last, they were as competitive as all other quotes I received. No more searching for a mover next time, It’s a call to Adam at Monroe Moving."

"Went fairly well. Jack was very responsive via text and emails. I had to change the move date and he happily accommodated me. Jack gave me a binding quote for the job and that's what I paid at the end. The movers came in on time and handled everything as Jack had suggested. They disassembled and reassembled any thing that needed to be. I even added an item last minute. Called Jack to let him know. He said no problem, no charge. Only thing I would say was that they ran out of the plastic carpet cover by the time we went to the new house. I suggest they keep an extra roll or two in the truck, just in case. Very satisfied with overall service. However, let me tell you, moving is not cheap."

"The efforts of the movers who packed up my home went well; After speaking to Eli, I opted for the services that grouped my items for an interstate move, that stated items would arrive between 8-10 business days of the earliest move in date; after giving the date, it required several calls to coordinate the actual day. The second set of movers arrived at the appointed time then angled for a tip stating that there was an elevator charge of $300 (would it have been better to use the stairs to a 4th floor apt). Two small incidents with the move in-2 pieces of furniture were damaged, which I filed with the moving company, 3 months later no word on that claim, and, the movers failed to wash their hands after using my bathroom. Going forward, To have better control over the delivery and quality of work of the move effort, on both ends, I found it easier to coordinate the 3 phases of packing, moving and unpacking on my own; and hopefully I will see the funds from the insurance claim."

"We had a long distance move from NJ to VT and I called three different places for quotes. Optimum was very competitive and I liked their "no bed bug" guarantee. They promptly came to our house to provide an estimate and the estimate was provided in a timely manner. They explained everything to me and were flexible in making updates to our inventory as we got closer to our move (ie changes in number of boxes, etc). We were sending some items to storage and some to our new place, so it was a bit more complicated than some other moves. They were accommodating, but did add a charge for stopping at our storage unit. On the day of the move they were prompt and sent a crew of three which worked out great. The foreman, Davon, was great, very professional and knew how to manage the complicated move. The rest of the crew, Juan and Wilson, were also great. Super nice and professional. I felt that they were careful with our items and took care in boxing and wrapping. They delivered the next day and were just as efficient with moving our items into our new place and setting things up for us. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again, in fact when we need our items that are in storage, Optimum will be the first place I call!"
