"For counter tops I went to a local granite stone place and it is called Stone World. I am extremely happy. It has a coating on it so for 15 years I don't have to worry about stains and all that stuff that you have to deal with ceramics which is why I didn't go with ceramic. That job went very well. Overall I would grade them definitely an 'A'. I would grade them 'A' on everything on the grading scale, absolutely."

"We contacted Jason as a result of the reviews of his work on Angies List. Jason is a working owner and uses his cell phone to conduct business so, unsurprisingly, it took us a couple of phone tags before we finally connected. Jason came out after a full day of work and spent about 30 minutes with us discussing possible solutions to the drainage issues we wanted to address. We settled on installation of a 40-ft retaining wall and a flower bed behind it, as well as modification of the existing irrigation system to accommodate the new construction. We also asked Jason to do the work necessary to cap off and move any irrigation lines and equipment that would be affected by a related concrete installation project. During the course of this work, we expanded the scope of the project to include locating and repairing a leak elsewhere in the irrigation system, reviewing and replacing spray nozzles throughout the system as appropriate, and some other general landscaping work.
Jason and his crew arrived within a few days as scheduled. I was even surprised to see a crew report for a half-day's work on Saturday. They did a good job of carefully exposing the irrigation lines without damage and recovering parts that we can use during reinstallation. The retaining wall also has been completed and looks great. We are on hold for completion of the reinstallation work and remaining landscape pending completion of the concrete work by another contractor and scheduling of Jason's crew.
Jason can be a little difficult to get hold of, and we went a couple of days wondering about the pace of the work, but I'm willing to attribute that to the fact that Jason is already working all day, a probably-misplaced expectation on my part of instant response now that we all carry cell phones, and the fact that I'm a former project manager. To his credit, Jason accommodated several changes in the scope of work to be done during the project. He and his team do good work, are dependable, and are fairly priced. We have been having problems with our current landscaper (Jordan's Landscaping) and hope to replace them with Landscaping Creations for our future work.

"

"
The G of B Designer met with me several times to discuss my thoughts on what the new design might look like - what needed to go, etc., and what my preferences for new plants and shrubs might be. He returned with a design proposal during the agreed upon window which I was very impressed with. His knowledge of plants enabled him to provide me with a very diverse array of flowering plants and shrubs.

G of B arranged for the removal of a large tree (and roots) that was being removed to make way for the new plants. Work began on the promised day, and boy, did they every work hard. The crew removed large bushes and another tree, and all existing plants. They then brought in new soil and tilled it into my dirt to provide a good start for the new plants. They took great care to rake and remove all rocks and debris in preparation for planting.

The planting was done on the 2nd day, and the crew worked with the designer to ensure all plants were placed in the appropriate spot, according to the design I accepted.

This work was completed about 10 days ago and the designer met with me this morning to review the work and ensure the plants looked well, and that I was happy with the work done. I paid the balance of the contract amount at the end of the meeting.

G of B acted very professionally throughout the entire process, and kept me in the loop every step of the way. The staff members I worked with were courteous and always remembered that I was the customer.

I cannot say enough good things about this team, and I will definitely engage B of G for any future landscaping needs.

"

"As this is their busy season they were not able to come out and give me an estimate for about a week. Mark responded and due to his experience and horticultural knowledge was able to provide a much needed solution. My property is rather large and has several problem areas. I have erosion issues around the pond which will ultimately be costly to resolve, but he broke down the much needed work into separate phases to help with the cost. I knew this would be a bit on the expensive side, but I was looking for someone who really understood my specific needs to use native plantings for improving the landscape, help with erosion issues, and minimal maintenance. I chose this company as I was looking for a greener or a more natural landscape solution, and the fact this company has been in business many years. Phase one of the work has been completed and I am extremely happy with the landscape improvement/solution. i will definitely consider using them again in the future to do more of the necessary work outlined in the original plan.
"

"Really good, really fair price! In Nashville, the guy even said that I would be wasting my money if I had them do anything, because of the type of tree it was. I have given their name & number out a million times. The power people came out and did their thing on a tree, there are 2 trees in front, after they came out, I had Davey come out and take a look to see if we needed any additional work to be done. He told me the tree close to the home was an evergreen and wouldn't grow much more, it didn't need any work at the time. So, for an evaluation & work, he was very honest. He wouldn't even charge me! "
