"This is my partner’s review as she was the one present for the service: My partner and I hired this company for a deep house cleaning. Over the phone, we were quoted $200-$400 and went over the requested services (deep clean for a two bedroom, two bathroom, three story house). We explained that there were boxes in the basement and to work around them, we were requesting that they fold laundry, do dishes, sweep/mop and undust as we have pets, etc. As we have dogs, I stayed outside with them for the majority of the service to stay out of the contractor’s way, but was always within reach. It was substantial work and when we received the invoice of almost $600, we decided that was fair as they had been there for about 5 hours and we still added a 20% tip for their efforts (paid directly to head contractor viz Zelle). However, when they finished the last request, they left very quickly (we had paid and tipped before the service was complete) and as soon as they left, it was immediately clear that multiple requests had not fulfilled. The dishes that were hand washed were done so badly there was still food stuck to them/greasy, the soap dispenser in the upstairs bathroom had been broken and turned to disguise the fact and they did not communicate it to me. The only floors that were mopped were the bathrooms but the main floor and the basement were not. They did a great surface level job and left my home smelling clean, but they did not complete it to the standard that they promised. In addition, there were some documents on the dining table that were thrown away without communication. In all, they did an okay job if you want a surface-level clean and they did make a great effort, however, I would not hire them again as they were not transparent about the item they broke and the dishes they hand-washed were left so poorly. If they were not going to mop or do the dishes efficiently, then they should have been honest and adjusted the invoice accordingly. It was the first time I hired a cleaning company for my home and I am grateful for the work they did, however, it just wasn’t as efficient as they advertised it would be."
