"Great. Cleaned the entire house of windows and doors (including bay window). About 18 windows/doors combined. All windows (both first and 2nd story) were cleaned inside and out. Screens removed and washed. They did a great job. Mike is easy to reach, and responds very quickly. Accommodates my schedule whenever possible. Have used them previously for gutter cleaning and have always been satisfied at price/quality, so decided to try the window cleaning. They offer a lot of services. Will continue to use and recommend."

"This is the second time we have used Dave's services. Last Fall for shutdown and now for Spring. Both times have been incredibly seamless and painless. After years of suffering with contractors cancelling appointments or not showing up, and when they did, they created more work by not shutting off properly, we just took a chance on Pacific's Lawn Sprinklers. We have been so impressed by Dave's professionalism and knowledge. Someone who knows his business inside and out. His company's setup is so easy to schedule and reschedule if necessary. An added bonus, Dave is a certified backflow inspector. No more additional contractors needed to begin your Spring. We are not even worried about Fall scheduling, as we know they will have us in their calendar and will verify if that time works for us!"

"They did a very nice job last year.  They are very reliable.  They did the design and came in and set everything up when they said they are going to do it.  They cleaned up as well.  I am going to use them again the next year.  The most important thing is that they did a quality job. They basically adhered to the schedule that they said and that was pretty important.  They were expensive.  The first year I bought everything, I can either rent it or I can buy it.  I know the price was steep.  We had to buy trees and led lights."

"Brett was able to remove three trees/shrubs from the front of house without effort, trim my lavender bush to the proper height for healthy regrowth, plant mutliple hostas, ferns, transplant wisteria and a peonies  to another location, weed what seemed to be mountains of weeds, lay down cloth in designated sites to prevent regrowth, go for organic mulch to complement what I had purchased, plant and then relocate a new rose bush when the first spot did not "look right", and provide a guarantee for his work! <br /> I felt safe with the entire crew under Brett's direction. They worked non-stop until a full 8 hours of working was complete.  I did not hear any whining, complaining, or dodging about adding techniques that I preferred which were more labor intensive.  I am pleased with their work.   My next door neighbors were excited about the skill level displayed and I introduced/shared Brett for estimates at their property which is much larger than mine. <br /> I look forward to a long collaboration with Brett and his company.  It is well worth it! <br />"

"He drew it and took pics of himself doing it otherwise we wouldn't believe even drew it. It looks like a photograph. We've never seen anything like it. He's amazing. He has also hand drawn pictures of my wedding and of my grand father for his funeral service."

"Its a lot cheaper if you buy flowers from a grocery store but then the quality you'll receive there is not that good. In Christoffers, the arrangements are always beautiful and the gift shop is pretty interesting."

FAQs for holiday lighting add or remove projects in Whitehouse, NJ

If climbing ladders or handling wiring isn’t in your comfort zone, hire a pro. Look for installers who post clear per-foot or hourly rates, carry insurance, and have solid reviews. Comparing at least three quotes helps you spot fair pricing without sacrificing safety. Skipping credentials to save a few dollars can cost you far more in repairs, so pick a qualified team and enjoy a safe, eye-catching display.

Yes, booking between February and September often scores lower rates because demand is light and pros have open calendars. You might even negotiate a discount package that includes removal or storage. If the budget is tight, ask whether a handyperson or an off-season permanent-light install makes sense for your home and timeline.

Determining the number of holiday lights for your house depends on your home’s size and specific decorative vision. Your project requires 10 to 20 light strands for a basic exterior display, with 100 lights allocated for eaves and an additional 10 to 20 bulbs for each awning.

For trees and substantial shrubs, allocate five to 10 strands per unit to achieve complete and balanced illumination across your property.

Tipping isn’t mandatory, but it’s a nice way to thank your installer for a job well done. Most homeowners offer 10% to 20% of the total bill or round up to an even figure if the crew exceeds expectations. A small extra goes a long way toward showing appreciation—and may help you snag priority booking next season.

Yes, you can install holiday lights yourself if your property layout is straightforward and your electrical system is secure. Homeowners who are confident in their ability to safely handle wiring and use proper equipment can save money with a DIY approach.

However, it is crucial to test all outlets thoroughly and secure the proper ladders and safety gear before starting. Careful planning and adherence to safety guidelines are essential to protect yourself and your home while achieving an attractive display.

Start by clearing the area of loose debris, damaged shingles, and anything that could trip you up. Test outdoor outlets and, if you’re unsure, bring in an electrician. Use a sturdy extension ladder (or scaffolding for very high spots) and never work alone—having a helper steady the ladder is non-negotiable. Taking these simple steps keeps you, your roof, and your new lights safe.
