"Prior to these guys saving our property, we foolishly hired an under-qualified contractor to install a large patio and retaining wall system. It turned out to be a never ending nightmare from the start that left us with pooling water everywhere, mud leaking thru walls and stairs that were falling apart. We hired Classical Pavers to hopefully resolve all our issues, and boy did they deliver. These guys are true landscape engineers! They uprooted the previously installed pavers, flawlessly re-pitched and graded the base, planned for all the possible drainige issues that might come up, and completely cleaned the pavers and property of any remnants of their work. I could not be happier with the professionalism of every level of their services. I would absolutely recommend them, and only use them for any and all future projects."

"John and his crew installed a 300 ft + driveway and turn around area for us in October of 2020. He and his guys did an outstanding job. Some of the prep was completed prior by another contractor 3 years before. John quickly assessed the drainage issues perfectly. We are situated on a hill and we have not had a significant puddle in our driveway yet. He widened our driveway quite a bit and raised the end of our driveway to prevent the waterfall we had before. Someone drove over it on to our lawn and made a mess getting out - his paving and border held perfectly. I am convinced you will be happy with his work. He is also extremely responsive, on time and flexible. We could not be more pleased. ;-)) Nancy and Brian"

"In a word, D&S does spectacular perfect work. Don and Isaac and their crews are the definition of professionals and experts in their craft of design and execution of hardscape, and good people. We did a complete renovation of our house which entailed 1. the removal of 13 mature trees and visibly gnarly roots; design and installation of: 2 an 800SF patio (after excavating a giant concrete slab), 3. Three walkways, and 4. Drainage, 5. A new paver driveway, 6. A new and expanded front landing, 7. New flower box, 8. Garage drainage and concrete floor enhancement and 9. Lighting. The results are stunning and have enhanced the beauty and functionality of our home into a serene and solid oasis. D&S did a perfect job, on time, for exactly the prices quoted. Further, the individual attention Don in particular paid to me and my family to help us with design and decisions and budget was most appreciated. I give D&S my highest recommendation. Hire them! You'll be completely satisfied and happy!"

"United Corp LLC is a great company to work with for paver patios, walkways, steps, retaining walls and driveways. We have hired them to do all of the above between late 2021 and early 2022 and have been completely satisfied with their professional expertise, service, workmanship and product. Our foreman, Marvin, and his team were awesome! They were timely (starting and finishing jobs ahead of schedule), neat (always left the job site clean and tidy), courteous and professional. Everyone was an absolute pleasure to work with and all of our neighbors were so impressed with the work that they did on our patio, driveway, retaining walls, steps and stone veneer. In fact, two our our neighbors have asked us for Unitedâ s contact info and at least one of them has hired United Corp to do their retaining wall and steps. United has fair prices, excellent workmanship and they stand behind their products and services. We recently noticed one of our driveway pavers was chipped, and some pavers in our walkway were sinking. United addressed these matters straight away. We couldnâ t be happier with United and enthusiastically recommend them to everyone we know!"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Whitehouse Station, NJ

Installing interlocking pavers takes between four and 10 days, depending on the project's size and complexity. The process involves careful excavation, precise leveling, and building a stable base before placing the pavers. Larger projects or challenging site conditions may require more time to ensure a durable and attractive result that stands the test of time.

It's not recommended to place pavers directly on dirt. For the best results, you'll need to lay a foundation of gravel or sand to create a leveled and compacted base. This ensures proper drainage below the pavers, preventing erosion and shifting over time. An uneven or unstable base can cause the pavers to move or settle improperly, affecting the appearance and longevity of your installation.

Installing interlocking pavers yourself involves rigorous preparation and careful execution. This DIY approach requires excavation, precise leveling, and building a proper base using gravel or sand to ensure stability. The project demands at least two to three full days of intensive manual work and the use of specialized tools. Alternatively, hire a paver installer for professional results.

Concrete stone and clay brick pavers are the top choices for homeowners. They offer robust performance and an attractive finish that elevates outdoor living areas. These materials are engineered for superior durability and design flexibility, ensuring long-term strength and style. Selecting the right paver type maximizes the overall appeal and functionality of your space while meeting all design and performance standards.
