"Craig and his crew did a good job.  They successfully redirected the water away from my house, which is what I wanted done.  They remediated my basement leakage issues for a fraction of the cost I thought it might be, so I am happy.  They also came in within their quote, which was good. <br />"

"Called Tendercare and scheduled required inspection of back flow prevention valve. Service was performed, and a few days later the appropriate documentation for the valve testing arrived along with the invoice. Tendercare is a well ran business. They installed my sprinkler system 4 years ago, and I've never had a problem with it. They even came back and raised up some of the valve boxes after they settled. They stand behind their work."

"When Mike came to evaluate the job he was friendly, professional and very thorough. The crew completed the job exactly as described and they hauled away all the limbs and debris. There is now ample clearance, yet the trees still look natural. I will definitely call Beaver's Tree Service when I need work done in the future."

"<p> Quick follow up and decent design. Took a few weeks to schedule everything as we started discussion earlier in year when still pretty cold. Was told up front approximately what delay would be. I called to remind them so not sure if I was already scheduled or not. But they met that new date and crew was really great. Not a spec of mess in yard, driveway or any place else. Very professional. they took extra steps and installed a temp snow fence to make sure my escape artist could not get out the gate if their back was turned.</p> <p>Couple of issues were the new heads that were 360 not 180 but Daniel had already identified this and was planning to come and replace when I called about an area of sod that never grew. They have replaced the heads and the sod.</p> <p>I wish the plants were bigger but I gave them a budget I could live with and they stuck to that. One thing of note, they guarantee the plants for full year and their replacement includes labor. No one else around here does that that I know of. I doubt I will need to as all the plants are doing great but it is nice to have that comfort that they will take care of things.</p> <p>I will use them again.</p> <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Whitewater, KS

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
