He will take your idea and offer suggestions on how to make it better i.e. when we called him on our bathroom remodel. "Star provided the windows, flooring, and stone/tile for our backsplashes and around our fireplace for our new home we had built in 2018. The process selecting the materials was pretty smooth, except they had a pretty small selection for some items. The problems started when they installed our LVP flooring. There were pieces cut too short that eventually moved, exposing the subfloor song the baseboards. It took Star three visits to fix this in our entry way. Now, the same thing has started in our kitchen. Also, they sold us MI windows that have been nothing but problematic. It took them six visits trying to fix the windows before they and the builder decided to replace two of them with casement windows. Now, three years later, those windows are leaking and Star simply told me to pound sand and that I would have to deal with MI on my own. Also, after the LVP flooring was installed the floor started popping when we walk across the living room. As part of the installation, they were supposed to sand down raised areas of the subfloor caused by rain. I don't know if that somehow caused the popping, the weight of the flooring, or what it may have been, but simply reinforcing the subfloor with additional screws would have likely prevented it. Now there isn't an affordable way to fix the popping without pulling up the expensive LVP flooring and replacing it. Thanks, Star. I will never step foot in Star Lumber again. Through example, they have shown time and time again that they don't take care of their customers."

"I really can't say enough about this whole team/company. They were responsive, able to react quickly to changes (requests from me as well as a few obstacles that the job presented). The whole team was friendly and showed on time, did the work quickly, efficiently and professionally. For the record - work completed was popcorn ceiling texture removed, new LED lighting installed, replaced old can lights with LED lighting. The crew event sent me a picture of an old (very old) smoke detector, stating they would change them all out for new ones and just charge me for the smoke detectors. I couldn't be more pleased with the results, and the work the whole crew at Texturite completed."
