"I recently hired MANTEK LLC for concrete work to complete a 40’ x 80’ foundation, the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The quality of the work was top-notch, and everything was completed with great attention to detail and professionalism. Manny, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable and was very helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer questions, offer guidance, and make sure everything was done right. His experience and commitment to quality really show in the final product. The project was completed on time, the crew was efficient and respectful, and the finished foundation turned out exactly as expected. I have continued to work with him, he’s now completing a driveway for the foundation. I would highly recommend MANTEK Concrete to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality concrete work."

"PART 1 Michael and his dad Tony came out to the job site and looked over the plans. I also sent them a copy of the plans. We needed footers and a stem wall for an addition. Michael then gave me a bid in writing, which included the concrete. I accepted the bid. There was delay after delay because he did not have a trailer to bring his trenches. Finally after almost 2 weeks, he borrowed a trailer and brought the trenches. He did the wrenching and rebar for the footers and then turned to me and told me I needed to order and pay for the concrete. I said, no, the concrete was his responsibility and showed him his signed bid. He seemed confused and said, that was a mistake, but he would do it anyway. Footers were poured and then he could not come up with the wood for framing the stem wall, so another week and a half delay. Then the day before pouring the stem wall he comes and tells me he won't pour it unless I pay for the concrete. He wanted $1,400.00. I did not know what to do. 3/23/2026 PART 2. I would pay half, but later I realized that was extortion and I was not willing to pay for the concrete. He ended up pouring the stem wall, and I gave him an additional $500.00 out of the kindness of my heart. THEN, when the carpenters came to start framing, the stem wall was 2 out of square, and 2 1/4 too high, so the finished floor on the addition would be 2 1/4 ; above the existing finished floor. Also, one of the piers was 1/2 too high. We asked Michael to come and discuss this. Meanwhile, I reached out to my architect and inspector and the solution was to change the size and spread of the floor joists to accommodate the mistake. This remedy would cost me an additional $500.00. Exactly what I paid him to help bail him out for his original mistake. Now, asking him to reimburse me for the additional $500.00 for this final mistake, he has refused. I would not be writing this review if he had been willing to do the right thing. I liked Michael and his dad, and they seem "

FAQs for concrete foundation installation projects in Wickenburg, AZ

A concrete footer is a relatively shallow column of concrete that sits below your foundation walls. Footers spread wider than the foundation, so they can support a higher amount of weight in critical spots, such as below walls. The exact dimensions of footers depend on the home, so larger structures need a larger footing.

To calculate footing size, you need to know the minimum width and depth for houses in your region. Multiplying the width by the linear footprint of the structure will give you the size in linear feet.

To convert linear feet into square feet, you can divide the width by 12. For example, an 18-inch footer is 1.5 square feet per linear foot. Multiply this number by the total in linear feet to get the answer in square feet.

Installing a pier and beam foundation costs $5 per square foot, or $8,000 to $15,000. This style is standard in homes built before the 1960s or those in flood-prone areas.

Concrete weight support ranges from 1,500 to 6,500 pounds per square inch, and footings need at least 3,500 to 4,500 pounds per square inch. Remember that your soil type, climate, and materials used will significantly affect how much weight your footings can hold, especially in certain areas.

It costs between $1,600 and $3,200 to pour a 20-by-20-foot concrete slab. These estimates are based on an average cost to pour a concrete slab of $4 to $8 per square foot. Be sure to discuss the specifics with a pro—they’ll give you an estimate of how much you can expect.

The cost to raise a house is between $3,200 and $10,000. This range refers to a form of repair that involves lifting the entire house to potentially remove the old foundation and build a new one or add to an existing one.
