"I had a rather specific and somewhat specialized need for a backyard concrete patio. The project called for a roughly 14x16 ft slab, of 4" thick with wire mesh concrete - and most importantly the entire patio needed to be pitched toward a centered drywell, for proper drainage. For added trickiness, the backyard had no street access, other than through the house, so the concrete needed to be pumped in (which could get messy). Mickey helped with demo as I decided to remodel the basement as well, then he waterproofed my entire basement. Finally, he leveled out my basement floor. "I will open by saying that ii have never written a review. here, amazon, or any other shopping website. but this time i really have to. Said is AMAZING. as a professional and as a person. he is the most hardworking person i have ever seen. he would continue to work every day even after the sun went down and you could hardly see. then he is so good at what he does, has ingenues ideas and executes them perfectly, my backyard had a massive amount of dirt and stones at the end, that covered 1/4 of the area and was 4 feet high. bringing all that out would have been hard and expensive. few contractors i had asked before were not even willing to get into that. Said had this genius idea of spreading it across the whole backyard. and leveling. it. it was not an easy thing but the result was perfect. and then he has a great aesthetic taste. for example when he installed the pavers he created patterns, different areas with different orientation. .then had this great idea of making the last 10 of the backyard elevates so that it feels like a patio. moreover he created vases for plants on the sides of the walls with stones. (see picture). artistic work. and he did all this by himself. just him. one man job what should have been 2-3 man job. and then on top of all this, he is such a nice person, always smiling, always open to anything and to ideas. he has ideas but he also wants to hear from you , always looking to learn. and if you don't like something he is of course very open to change it but not before telling you:â let me do presentationâ his favorite frase. and he will create it for you to se what he means. every friend of mine that has seen his work has asked me his number. So my advice is, whatever you are looking to do, stoop and look no further, as you have arrived you have found the right men for the job."
