The copper flashing was pulling away from around my chimney and looked like it was in need of repair or replacement. I had previously worked with another well reviewed roofing company on Angie's List that missed my scheduled appointment to examine my chimney flashing. So I was very pleased when Andrew from Gunner showed up exactly when promised, and I was quite fascinated with his use of a drone to take precise aerial photographs of the work to be performed from all angles - a rather tech savvy approach. Gunner provided a detailed estimate within hours, that was only 1/3 the cost of the estimate I ultimately received from that other roofer. Gunner Roofing completed the work on time, and did a very satisfactory job. This was a relatively modest project, but based on my experience, I hope to use Gunner Roofing when it comes time to redo my entire roof."

"Simply put: I cannot say enough good about my first experience with BEST Contracting. When my roof was damaged by weather, Jeremy of BEST was there to help me to navigate the journey to a replacement roof, from the initial estimate to working with the insurance company and through the installation and follow-up. I now have 50 year shingles, a great looking roof, and I know that my guarantee is backed by BEST. BEST showed up at my house at 8:00 a.m. on the scheduled day for work, and by late afternoon had stripped off the old asphalt shingles, installed the new ones, cleaned up thoroughly around the house, and removed all of their equipment. I had always expected that getting a new roof would imply a few days of inconvenience, but there wasn’t even a moment of that. "Working with Leeland's was a great experience. I had a significant leak in my slate roof and the service appointment was scheduled very quickly. It was explained to me that the way they perform the repair and maintenance jobs was to have me pre-authorize $800 worth of work (time and materials) and if it went over that they would write up a separate estimate. If it was less they would only charge me for the actual work performed. The roofer showed up on time and was very professional. He was onsite for maybe 4 to 5 hours. The leak was fixed that day and 15 other slates that were missing or damaged were also repaired. He took photos of everything that was done - before and after and they were emailed to me in a PDF file later that week. Also included in the email was three estimates for other areas on the roof that need attention. I am planning on having them out to perform general maintenance on the roof every year. Total cost of all repairs was $400. <br />"

"it went ok until he could not get the inside parts of the stove back together again....it was a blessing that i had the manufactures book and he used that to put everything back. I really don't know if he actually inspected the chimney from the outside of the house, but the inside of my wood burner is fine. <br />"

"Mr. Haas identified problems in our roof installation and issued a report. He suggested re-install and steps that we should take to get it done. It was a long process that involved county and DPOR. Mr. Haas was very helpful every step during the entire process. He is highly experienced and very responsive to our calls, text, and email. We eventually got the roof reinstalled in a very good quality. Mr. Haas was onsite multiple times to ensure the right materials and methods were used. It would not be possible without the help from Mr. Haas."

"Contacted about 7 different roofers in the area to replace roof (started having leaks last winter). Several were already booked through the end of the year, but did manage to get three to give me estimates. Barr's estimate was in the middle of the three. Signed contract in mid-June with an estimated start date sometime in late September or October. Barr required a 1/3 deposit at the time the contract was signed. Did not hear from the contractor again until mid-September when I called to check on an estimated start date. They claimed that they were just about to call me and would be ready to start in two days. Arrived on the date promised with a large crew. Complete repair took only three days (estimate had been five). Very satisfied with the quality of work. Crew did an excellent job of cleaning up each afternoon and when the job was completed. Overall very happy with Barr and would recommend to friends/family. <br />"
