"Galle Electric came last month and removed the remaining knob and tube from our home, which was a big job. They did fantastic with it! Galle is a small family business with very competent, knowledgeable, personable, thoughtful, careful workers. They left all of the wires they worked on behind the wall (no surface mount), fished enormously and with tenacity to reach difficult places (even crawled through some crawl spaces), plastered over every small hole they had drilled, and were very responsive to requests. They regularly cleaned up the plaster dust they created and managed to get the job done (with 3 men working) in 3 1/2 days. They always arrived on time and worked through to the end of the day. I was very happy to have them and have been totally satisfied with the results.... No more knob and tube and a highly marketable home!"

"Dave is a friendly person and doesn't try to sell you something you don't need. He was able to give my house a major lighting facelift using the equipment we already had. He moved all our lights from the wall to the front of the house highlighting the stone and a few trees. He installed glass on the lights to keep the mulch from getting in which is safer. Dave was able to do the work in one day and while we were away on vacation as he didn't need to get in the house to do it. We came home late from our trip a few days later to see our house all lit up and pretty. We definitely recommend him. <br />"

"Renato and everyone on his team did a great job replacing an old brick retaining wall that was well on its way to falling with a new stone wall. It’s beautiful, a definite improvement to the property. The crew arrived promptly each morning, worked incredibly hard and swept the driveway before leaving each day. I could not recommend them more. "We bought a house in and quot;as isand quot; condition. We knew there were problems and asked a contractor to look the house over for some repairs that we needed. We didn't end up using him but he asked if we would let his electrician take a look. Tony came over and as we failed on the C.O. for electrical warned us that in order for him to certify the house as OK electric wise he would have to fix everything that was not right. He charges 300 dollars for this service which I first thought was a lot of money. He went through the house on that day and checked every single wire, every single socket. He went into crawl spaces, into the back yard, checked the poor old pool electrical stuff that was really messed up. He went into my attic which another guy did for about 30 seconds and never remembered to bring a flashlight to see what he was doing. Previous to this appointment I asked another electrician to come over and he poked around, gave me a price and said it may be more if he finds more stuff wrong. I was shocked how many things were wrong with my house but it was about 50 years old and had been abandoned pretty much for about 5 years. A lot of the fixes done were by owners who apparently didn't know jack about electricity. <br /> I am so happy with the work he did that we will be using him soon for other issues that we didn't address at this time. I referred him to a family member who will also be using him soon. He works with his son and they are both amazing people. I am surprised he isn't on Angie's list yet and promised him I would write a review. <br /> You have to check this guy out. He is so kind and knowledgeable. You don't find contractors like this anywhere else but Angie's List and now Tony of Light Works is here too. <br />"

"It went really well. I was having my house appraised for a loan, and I wanted it to look good. Brent and his team went through my property and cleaned up, pruned or trimmed every weed, tree or bush on my property. My property was really overgrown, to the point where neighborhood kids thought the property was haunted. When they were done, everything was neat, trim, and well-manicured. I had also painted, but when all was done, my appraisal went up by about $300K from the previous appraisal. Brent and his team were polite, clean and great to work with. I am going to have them come back in the spring to plant grass in my back yard."

"I haven't got my gift card yet. I haven't completely set up the system yet. My wife and I had to go out of town and I had it set up for the most vulnerable places. <br /> <br /> I thought the gift card was supposed to be here within 30 days. The house was flooded in Aug. I didn't realize I couldn't set it up, the first part of the house we did after the flood was the den. But we bought a lot of our stuff and kept it in the den because we could only get a small storage bin. 20000 people looking for storage space, there weren't any left. Most of the stuff I have was stored in the den and it has 8 windows, so the windows where the system was going was in the den. <br /> <br /> Now the motion detector and security system has been set up except for a few window magnets. The alarm is working fine and working correctly. <br /> <br /> Any problem I had I called customer support and they walked me thru the steps. It was a great price for a home security system. Then for $37 a month, you spend that much on beer for a weekend. I have nothing to complain about so far. It appears to be top notch. The software updated as soon as I turned it on. It was pretty easy and I think anybody would be able to set it up. I activated it and the tech support was great. They were very polite and cordial on the phone. <br /> <br /> Very professional. It's a fair price for a fair deal. As far as I am concerned it is a great product and the tech support was great. There isn't any place else you can get this good of a security system for this price. <br /> <br />"

"The company's response time was immediate. My husband has only one day off during the week and they were easily able to accommodate our scheduling concern. They were precisely on time and replaced the outdoor flood light that we bought exactly as requested. They also replaced ballast and bulbs in a fluorescent fixture. They even had a new motion light in their truck that handled another problem that we were having. The parts they supplied were reasonable in cost. We were quoted a per hour labor charge and they stuck to it exactly. Thanks to Steve and John for a job well done. We have more work to be completed and will definitely contact Urbano Electric again."
