Saturday, I put out a general request for quotes. Rafael Jimenez, the proud owner of AMJ Contractors was the first to respond and here within the hour. I explained my current financial situation and if only the absolute bare minimum be done. Before he went on the roof, I asked if he knew anyone in need of a huge air conditioner. I needed it out so I could put my new little one in. As I walked him to his truck. He looked at me and said, if you are available on Monday, I’ll come back with a helper. Only pay me for the roof supplies. I will fix your roof and put in your 3 air conditioners. I was stunned Tears flowed Two days later, My 3 air conditioners were installed with thick plywood from his shop. Next on my roof for hours with big smiles!! "I hired Five Star Roof Cleaning to clean the roof of my Mom’s rancher in Skillman, NJ. I’m very pleased with the work Paul and his company did! Mom’s house is going to be put up for sale in the Spring, and I wanted it to have more curb appeal by getting rid of those ugly black mold stripes and up and down the roof. Also, a few roof areas had green moss patches growing on it (which is harmful to the asphalt roofing tiles). All these problem areas were taken care of! Five Star Roof Cleaning came with all the equipment (hoses, ladders, safety equipment, etc.) and cleaning chemicals needed – all that I needed to provide was a water hose connection. I especially appreciate Paul’s concern for a quality job. The first scheduled date for the project had to be postponed because there was slight snow on part of the roof. Paul said he didn’t want to clean a roof with “frozen” roof tiles because they are too rigid and might break/chip during the cleaning process. Bravo for his concern! Next, I hired him for roof cleaning, but he also cleaned the gutters (not only with both an air blower and power washing, but also simply bending over and hand-picking out the clumps of leaves stuck underneath the gutters / asphalt tiles). He was also concerned about the cleaning chemicals that were sprayed on the roof that might “accidentally” clean other house surfaces and took steps to circumvent that from happening (you’d think that “accidentally” cleaning other areas would be desirable, but unfortunately it wouldn’t clean everything evenly and in the end, would make the cleaning project look cockeyed). Regarding the price, the amount he quoted was the price I paid (despite a slight increase in the scope of the project). I had gotten another quote from a different roof cleaning firm for double the price and found them very slimeball’ish with their aggressive sales tactics and avoiding answering simple questions. I would absolutely recommend Paul and Five Star Roof Cleaning to others!"

"We called adelphia roofing systems after we heard a very loud noise that shook our entire home, joe from adelphia roofing came out as scheduled we found out that a old tv satellite dish blew over and caused a small hole, what we did not know is that a large part of our roof blew up and off roof joe took photos and shared them with myself and my family, joe assured us he would have a crew come back and install a tarp temporarily until he and his company could come back to install our roof- although they were very busy he moved some customers around and fit us in 3 days later- all went well our roof is great and leak free thanks joe and adelphia Roofiing systems for a job well done"

"I found A2Z on Angie's list. If you've never found someone there, you can click 1-4 contractors for a job and they should all call you. A2Z was the only one that called and they called within an hour! It was actually a representative of the company, ya know like they have a legit business. It wasn't the same person that fixes stuff, and answers the phone, and schedules appointments etc. An assistant or office manager called me. She was very Friendly and professional. We scheduled an appointment for the very next day. Victor called me at said he was there the morning of the appointment. He was there early in the estimated arrival window too! Amazing! He found the issue quickly, which was a leaking window, not a roof leak, as the other guy from another "company"said. Victor was easy to work with, he showed up on time, he sent me a quote and the quote ended up being the price. He was reliable and answered my phone calls and texts. I tell you, that is unheard of in the contracting business. My tenant even said she had a good experience with him and he was pleasant. I totally recommend Victor and A2Z Home Remodeling!! "Very professional and a fair price! I received a straightforward Proposal estimate in a timely fashion. Ivan and his crew were on time, diligent, and they paid careful attention to detail. Cleanup was perfect. A problem was discovered with the type of nails that had been used previously on the plywood; these were replaced at no additional charge for time/labor. I was also able to keep my existing skylights because this crew had the expertise and was willing to spend the extra time and to secure the proper flashing. The team worked until dusk, and Ivan refused to be paid until he returned the following day to determine that not a single nail was left on my property. This company was a pleasure to work with."
