I would normally have got 3 bids for something like this, but having it done the same day I called out-weighed maybe saving some money at the cost of missing more work. A large tree in the front yard broke a dozen feet off the ground, and fell onto another tree splitting it but remaining suspend in the air. With someone coming out, may as well remove the dead tree in back too. I stayed home from work and called 3 top rated tree services from Angies List for bids. 2 were coming out later in the week, but Norbert from Good Morrow could be over in an hour. Price quoted seemed reasonable, but this was the first bid. Chatting, he mentioned there was a crew finishing up a job near by, and they could do everything today. I might have saved a couple hundred dollars with more bids. but the convenience of same-day service and not missing al least 3 more days of work sold me. Crew of six showed up at 3:15 in three trucks with 2 chippers, a bob-cat with a grapple, and a stump grinder. By 4:15 they were grinding stumps and were probably gone by 5:00. Wonderful to watch pros at work. Unfortunate the videos I shot on phone exceed the 10 MB GIF limit..."

"I called two tree services prior to Top Cut and got no response. Mike came within hours to provide an estimate and completed the job two days later. I had a tree which was dropping significant debris in my pool. My solution was to cut a major branch at the main trunk. Mike explained why that wasn't the right approach. "Chris has worked on my trees a couple of times now. He is very good about making the rounds to check in with his clients for any needs they may have. Trimmed up tree in front yard and 2 trees in backyard. I usually have a problem getting companies that will work on the trees because of location of power lines. Chris took the time to explain what he could do for the tree and what would have to be done by the power company. Returned to the house 3 days after the job to check and see if all was good. At that time I had noticed some limbs that needed to be cut back and he immediately got the equipment and completed it. This is the only tree company I would use. I appreciate the knowledge he shares."

"I hired Jose and Freddy's Tree Service after talking to two other companies. The first reason that I decided on this company, was that they were able to take care of each and every 'issue' I had. I needed the following A patio created A fire pit Raised flower beds designed A large tree removed and other trees trimmed A garden shed removed A huge fireplace/patio removed (this was a tough task) After Jose and I talked and agreed on the design (and he had lots of ideas) we decided to move forward. During the first 1-2 days I added other 'needs' and Jose had no issue taking care of these for me. The project was a challenge for sure and the guys worked tirelessly from early morning until it grew dark. I cannot say anything negative at all about their work ethic. Jose is enthusiastic, has many creative ideas and comes across as a person who LOVES to design and give the customer a beautiful end product. He chose all the plants for me and I'm so delighted with his choices. The patio area is more like a courtyard, with beautiful grey stone and cedar wood landscape lined beds. It truly looks wonderful. Projects are always stressful, no matter what, and this was no exception. During the process, it is always a mess and envisaging the end product isn't easy. Now that it is complete though we couldn't be happier. It is gorgeous and we cannot wait to use the area. In the future, should I need more landscaping done, I would for sure hire Jose and Freddy's Tree Service."
