"The adult men worked well and carefully. The big branches were cleared away well. Many of the small branches near the pool were left on the deck. The young man trimming the overgrown plants and bushes should have been supervised. He cut and pulled out most of my shrimp plants that I had said, "don't cut". He also cut down a large decorative bush with pretty purple berries that was on the front corner of the house. All he left were ugly little stubs of wood. "I wanted to write about our experiences with Cedrick Jones and Gold Star Adjusters. Our insurance company was planning to not pay us for major damage we sustained during a wind storm that hit our house around Feb 2020. Even though water came into the house and was inside the wall, they told us that the damages were only worth about $2K or so and that it would be a cheap fix and the amount conveniently was below our deductible threshold. Mr. Jones was able to force the insurance company to pay out more than enough money for us to hire professionals to come out and rebuild most of the interior and some of the exterior wall where the water was coming from. If it wasn't for him, we would have been on the hook for several thousands of dollars worth of repairs. I wanted to let you know that Mr. Jones handled everything above and beyond the normal level of care and professionalism one would expect from an adjuster. He spent several hours at our home ensuring that any and all damages were fully accounted for and held the insurance company accountable for payment of the damage claims."
