He understood immediately what we wanted, and had some good suggestions for how to lay it out. In addition to that work, we asked him to pour two concrete pads: one for our trash cans and one for a portable generator. He also poured a concrete ramp for our shed. Rudy Davila met me at the site and due to the nature of the expansive soil he recommended a stand alone slab beefed up with a deeper footing around the perimeter and at least one grade beam for support and heavy duty re-bar throughout. Rudy’s crew showed up and went to work. The entire job took maybe one week. They did a beautiful job and left the site clean. Here we are seven years later, and I am happy to report the slab is still in perfect condition. I have since added a patio cover. I am so happy that I took Rudy’s advice. This man knows concrete and the challenges associated with the different soil types in and around the San Antonio area."
