"Eddie was great to work with from start to finish. To be honest, he wasn't the highest quote, nor was he the lowest quote. We picked Eddie because of how thorough his explanations were. During our first consultation: Unlike many of the other companies that we meet with, Eddie took the time to listen to our concerns and explain the entire process. He stayed as long as was necessary to make sure we felt that our questions were all answered. We liked him right away because of his thoroughness as well as how personable he was. It didn't seem like he was in it to "nickel and dime" us, rather, he explained two scenarios that could have happened- a bar price, and then a more costly one if the base of our driveway wasn't up to par. Right before the job: Eddie called us to give us a couple of days notice prior to ripping up the driveway. He was punctual with both the day and time that he said he would come. He was able to take out the driveway on a Tuesday, and then came back to repave on the Monday after, so we ended up being unable to drive on it for a week and a half (need to wait three days after). We thought that timeframe was very reasonable. Even after Eddie got paid and finished the job, he still spent time explaining his work to my husband. He also discussed the care and maintenance. He took pride in his work and seemed to really stand by it. In the end, we were charged the base price. We are very happy with our choice of Eddie and Blue Diamond. "We definitely recommend EB Asphalt and Landscaping. We needed a driveway renovation plus landscaping - broken areas of asphalt to repave, cracks to fill, landscaping to build up on the sides of the drive to prevent further crumbling, and then sealcoating. Rick who quoted the job was very professional - his crew showed up promptly as scheduled, worked very hard and did a very nice job with the patch paving, crack filling and landscaping. As soon as the weather warmed up, the crew came back to finish the project with a beautiful two-coat spray on of sealcoating. This over 15 year old driveway looks brand new. Courteous. Nice. Easy to schedule and showed up on time as scheduled. Worked very hard. Did a super job. We will definitely hire E & B again next year for a final sealcoat over the recently patches which were too recently installed to be sealcoated this year.
