"If you speak to Joe by phone, he does not come out to the job site to sell you the HVAC unit. When you sign the estimate agreement, make sure he puts every detail of the job you need done, even though you emailed him or text him. The installers are sub-contractors and only go by what Joe tells them. Thus, in our situation, the condenser had to be moved from original location 8', which I text before the estimate was done. That was $675 more on top of estimate. The breakers for the unit were not to code and cost me an additional $450 to hire an electrician. The installers installed the unit knowing that the copper tubing from the inside unit to original copper tubing we had was much bigger and this could ruin our system over time and not function properly. This could have been changed out right then and there with install. This cost me an additional $1,100 after install as installer had to come back. According to the inspector, Iron Air should have paid for the breaker cost. "

"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! IT'S A SCAM! Darren and partner came November 13th 2024. Once in the house, they pressured my 91 year old mother to spend an additional $1,200 for spray coating "to keep fiberglass and asbestos from blowing out"! She paid. After they left we could see they not clean the entire duct system, faking it by just doing the first few feet. Then we discovered insulation that they had "coated" inside several ducts had fallen down and was blocking air flow on the inside! Their sloppy work got spray coating on the ceiling around every vent, and the shiny bright white of the coating is a different white from the ceilings. We called them to address these issues on 11/14, 11/15, and 11/18, 11/19, and finally 11/20 a woman said Darren would be here 11/25 to assess. No one showed up. We called dozens of times throughout the rest of November, December, and January. No one answered or showed up. These are destructive, incompetent dishonest scammers. Avoid like the plague."

Before they even sent the technician, they required me to sign a form stating I couldn’t dispute the $850 charge, without providing any clear breakdown of what it was for. I felt forced to sign because we urgently needed AC, especially with kids in the house and the Florida heat. Once the work was done, I asked for an itemized invoice or a work order and got nothing but vague references to “non-covered modifications.” The tech said he didn’t know what the charges were for, and the office just redirected me back to him. Very disappointing and unprofessional, no transparency and no accountability. Beware of unclear billing practices."
