"Absolutely Horrible. Go elsewhere. In summer of 2023 I sought quotes from Roofing companies to redo the roof on my house. I accepted the quote of Lines & Lundgreen even though it was the second highest, but based on 1) the fact I went to high school with some of the family members, 2) their sales pitch, 3) and the company is now ran by a local politician. That should have been the red flag, but it wasn't. I was misguided and their ill-performance was costly. On September 15, 2023 I submitted payment for 50% of project's cost, $15,260. I was told they were "a little behind but would get started in the upcoming week or so" and the owner, Jonathan would talk to me before starting. Let me explain how "or so" is defined by Lines & Lundgreen. September went by. October 2023 goes by. Nothing. November 2023 and still nothing. On 11-18 we get a decent rain and my roof starts to leak. I reach out, answer, "we are still a little behind but expect to get started this month." December 2023. Nothing. January 21/22, 2024 rains so hard, I now have leaks in 7 areas. The drywall starts to fall inside the home, insulation comes down. Contact L&L. Answer, "we are so sorry" February 2024. Another half-inch of rains, I have buckets all inside my house, NOTHING from L&L. Coming up to HALF A YEAR of excuses, stories, sorries but zero results. All this time, they have almost $8,000 of my money earning them interest, while my expenses on home repairs increase. March 2024. I contact Arizona Registrar of Contractors, other vendors, and start to make a fuzz. L&L starts to make more excuses. At this time, I go to hire Almodova Roofing who is ready to start in 7 days. L&L, so secure the job with a mechanics'' lien on my home, finally show up, 15 minutes before Almodova's first day to start the job but inadequate staff and materials. On my Ring Cameras, you can hear their foreman venting on how the employees he was sent did not know what they were doing and he had to restart the job to fix their mistakes. Days and weeks go by. More and more excuses. Finally, they claim to finish the roof but it is not. Instead, they send me an invoice for $7,980 and another quote for $2,100 to finish the job. I finally did what I should have done EIGHT (8) months ago, hire someone else. On a Tuesday, I retain another roofing contractor who finishes the job that same week, Friday by 1pm for $1,000. I told all my neighbors and friends already, do not go to Lines and Lundgreen. I am telling you too, save your aggravation and go elsewhere."

Polyurethane foam roofing and insultion. all types of roof coatings.
"The job was performed as promised, but the written warranty is as good as the contractor wants it to be. We had insulated panels installed by Mr Foam on 10-2017 and a storm came thru on July 2018 and blew them all off into the adjacent neighbors yard causing extensive damage to their property as well as ours. When asked about his warranty he said he does not warrant against wind damage. So our Home Owners Insurance is not covering the property damage because after inspecting those panels they were not properly installed with fasteners or any kind. So Mr Foam takes no responsibility to damage incurred to property by the wind. Best recommendation is to check out other installers before hiring Mr Foam"

Homeowners' insurance usually provides coverage for roof leak repairs only when resulting from sudden accidental events like storm damage or falling objects. Standard policies often exclude deterioration from normal aging or inadequate maintenance. Each policy contains specific coverage parameters and exclusions.
If you suspect your leak stems from a covered incident, document everything thoroughly with photographs and contact your insurer promptly to determine eligibility.
You can identify potential roof leaks by examining your attic after rainfall for moisture indicators like wet insulation or water stains. Interior warning signs include ceiling discoloration, bubbling paint, or unexplained damp spots.
Exterior inspection should focus on missing or damaged roofing materials, deteriorated flashing, and debris-filled gutters. Persistent musty odors often signal hidden moisture issues. Professional inspections using thermal imaging can locate water intrusion that remains invisible to standard visual checks.
Most standard roof leak repairs require one to two days to complete, though timing varies with project scope and weather conditions. Simple interventions like replacing several damaged shingles might conclude within several hours.
More extensive projects involving multiple repair areas or structural components extend across several workdays. Reputable contractors will provide timeline estimates during initial consultations based on your specific situation, material availability, and anticipated weather patterns.
Optimal roof repair conditions occur during spring and fall months when temperatures remain moderate and precipitation is less frequent. These seasonal windows provide ideal working environments for thorough, unrushed repairs. However, active leaks warrant immediate attention regardless of season to prevent escalating damage.
Professional roofing contractors maintain capabilities for year-round operations and can implement appropriate techniques for various weather challenges when urgent repairs cannot wait for ideal conditions.
