"We do not recommend Hernanadez Landscaping. After at least 3 requests to for a written estimate, including the night before the project (we had to call for the arrival time), it was never provided. Red Flags! Jerry claims he sent it via the Angi app, and that he isn't given any personal contact information. However, he had previously asked for and gotten my personal email. When he first came to give an oral estimate, we liked the crew and agreed that they would install a walkway that matched the pavers of a connecting walkway, remove some trees and a brush pile, and clean the patio. When they arrived to start, we were told they didn't have the matching pavers. When we spoke with Jerry on the phone, it seemed he wasn't entirely sure which job was ours. At this point we cancelled the walkway project but asked him to do the other part of the job. The next thing we knew, the crew was packing up to leave. Jerry took no responsibility for the problems. One star is for the nice crew."

"I wanted a shower expanded. George Mavridis's estimate was very competitive but I hired him because I knew he was honest, quality focused and an open communicator. He has a small crew and excellent subs so he's not super fast. But Mavridis is excellent. One example: The shower needed a new fan, vented through the attic roof. The attic boards were all cut (before my time) in half when insulation was installed. The attic floor was unstable and unsafe. George was very busy but he had his team replace the boards with plywood panels...for 20% less than I expected. Why? Because he wanted to make sure I would be happy when the job was done. I could give 4-5 other examples but you get the point. If you hire George, you'll be pleased."

They fixed our grout issues, regrouted the shower and other areas that showed wear over time. They matched the existing grout perfectly. "In 2021, I hired Eric to fix a water leak in my basement. I paid approximately $8000. Three months after the work was done, there was leaking again. He came over and told me that this was a different leak. After I saved up enough money, I was referred to an expert in basement leaks/foundations. He came over and completed the work. When he was doing the work, he proactively asked me who did the work previously. He said he was clearly not done by someone with knowledge of foundations. I have tried to resolve with Eric. At a minimum, I deserve a refund"
