"I definitely recommend APR for flat roofing needs. They did a complete rip and replace of a 500+ sq ft flat roof at my home in La Grange. They were not the low bidder. However, the value was evident. Not only did they install a new torch down roof, but they repaired a significant amount of water-damaged soffit and installed new gutters instead of just re-installing the old gutters, as many suggested. They pointed out several areas of concern that led to the failure of my old roof. And to my surprise, they were able to mobilize a large crew and complete the entire job in one day, including clean up. I talked to many roofing contractors before choosing APR, and I couldn't be happier with my choice."

"In May 2020, A&D Exteriors completed 2 large projects for my wife and I: 1) they replaced our asphalt shingle roof, and 2) they installed vinyl siding to replace our cedar siding. We are extremely pleased with how both projects turned out! Kevin Kowalski was the project manager for both projects, and he was a pleasure to work with. He came to our house to evaluate what we wanted done, and he emailed us detailed proposals for each project. The prices were very competitive, and we signed the proposals to move forward. From start to finish, Kevin kept us informed about the status of things, and he always answered our questions promptly. A&D Exteriors also has a designer, Heidi, and she came out to give us her ideas, including helping us choose colors. The roof replacement was done first, and it was completed in 1 day. Eugene was the foreman of a large crew of 7. They came at 7:30am and were done at 3:30pm. Importantly, the crew did a terrific job of cleaning up. Something we particularly liked was that they didn’t put a fixed dumpster in our driveway, they used a dump trailer on wheels to avoid doing damage to the driveway. The dump trailer was dropped off the night before, and was taken away the same day after the roof replacement was finished. The siding project was next, and Arthur was the foreman of a crew of 2. The 2 of them did an amazing job putting up the vinyl Board and Batten vertical siding and the LP SmartSide engineered wood trim to closely match the existing look of our Tudor style house. The work was completed in 4.5 days, and the house looks great! They also did a thorough job of cleaning up. We give A&D Exteriors our highest recommendation!"

"I contacted several roofers from Angieslist and gotten bids. I became comfortable with Titan in the process. I felt I am getting more value for the $$$ so at the end I went with them. The way Tim Niles (?) presented and persuaded is excellent. He answered all my stupid questions and he was not pushy. His knowledge about roofing is commendable. I even told him he deserves a honorable phD in roofing. 
1. Once I signed the agreement, I was forrtunate they were able to schedule my work in just two days. My project  took 2 days 
2. material (shingle bundles, ridges, weather proofing underlayment) has been delivered one day before work start. BTW, I like their synthetic underlayment called PALISADE.
3. First day, 8 member crew started showing up around 7:30 in the morning. They waited for the dumpster which showed up in few minutes and they started tearing off old shingles. Mine is 4000sft roof and it has a pillar type structure which takes while. First day was Friday. But rain was in the forecast for the rest of the week end. THIS IS WHAT I LIKED. They only opened the roof what they were sure they could install new shingles on that day. They started and finished back section and by 6pm they are gone. Trailer has been hauled away.
4. The weather forecast became reality. It rained and would have caused damage if opened the entire roof. I am very glad they didn't. It rained on Monday as well. They didn't show. Tuesday was clear day and again they started early and finished late 7:30pm.
5. They cleaned up very well after their work EACH day. Again important, because we had backyard BBQ party (small kids playing in the backyard) that weekend while the project is still ongoing.
6. They covered my bushes with tarps before they started the project
7. They have not charged me any extra for wood they used (3 sheets are included in the contract and they used 3 sheets). I find them very honest in breaking my pocket with extras.
8. Tim Niles (?not sure about his last name), came after couple of weeks of the project completion and double checked and confirmed with me that they did every thing they promised. Only then he asked for the check!
9. Later I got my GAF lifetime warranty in the mail as promised
I find them honest, prompt, professional and more than anything they value my business!
All in all I am extremely happy with Titan and I am sure if something unforeseen happens I am confident Titan will help sort it out.

"Seidel provided a competitive bid to replace the roof and gutters. We had some specific questions with respect to the work. Udo responded to our questions pretty quickly and thoroughly. One question we had in particular was how Seidel would deal with the existing skylight. Udo was quite specific in his response: "on the skylights there is a factory step flashing that is very high quality aluminum with a baked on enamel finish and i can assure it will not have to be replaced. our procedure around the skylight is as follows. remove skylight frame and step flashing wrap skylight with ice/water shield. re install step flashing over ice/water shield. install skylight frame over ice/water shield and step flashing. this will give you a permanent seal. " Based on the competitive bid, the thorough response, and the good reviews, we decided to go with Udo and Seidel. Seidel completed the work in Fall 2013 according to the contract specifications. We have for the most part been happy with the outcome in terms of both the aesthetics of the roof, as well as its function. However, several weeks ago (March 2017), my wife noticed serious leaks from the skylight in our kitchen ceiling. The leaks were serious enough to cause water damage to our kitchen floor. When she called Seidel, the person who answered the phone advised there was no way the roof could be the problem, and refused to even take a look at the situation. When my wife asked about tarping the roof until the leak could be repaired, he advised Seidel would charge $400 to tarp the roof. That weekend, I left a message for Udo asking him to call me back to discuss looking at the leak to determine the root cause. I never heard anything from Udo or Siedel. We have since sought bids from other contractors to repair the leak. My complaint has more to do with Seidel's complete lack of responsiveness to this most recent situation, rather than to their workmanship in replacing the roof in 2013. I did not initially place the call expecting Seidel to do anything other than inspect the situation, and advise what steps to take to resolve it - whether it had to do with Seidel repairing any problems with the roof, or replacing the skylight. Unfortunately, Seidel did not even bother to check. Given their lack of responsiveness, I do not foresee using them or recommending them in the future as a result of this experience."
