"I had an existing pond from another landscaping company that was leaking I called 3 other landscaping companies that specialize in ponds none of them called back I called Hector once and he was at my house within 48hrs. Said he can fix my existing pond I told him I want bigger he mapped out the pond of my dreams. His guys started the job and didnâ t leave until job was done. We even had a very small problem within 48hrs Hector had guys fix problem. His guys were very respectful they were always in masks even tho I didnâ t care if they were. They cleaned up everything then next day Hector came by showed us how to run everything then he walked around yard making sure the waterfall sound was perfect from all spots in yard also gave us web site to get our koi. He does offer financing so you can get a nice pond and not having regrets on not getting what you want. We even had neighbors come by now they want pond by Hector. "We were referred to R & G Almanza Landscaping by our tree service. After a less-than-pleasant experience with another local fencing contractor (who did a terrible job repairing a shared fence that had blown down in spring windstorms), working with R&G was a fantastic experience. Although R & G is more well known locally for their yard maintenance work, the high-quality job they did installing my fence was exceptional. Their price was very reasonable, they were clean, fast, responsive and cared about the details. They even went above and beyond what I expected and really weeded and cleaned up the ground surrounding the fence. I plan on using them again next season for more landscaping work and even am considering them for weekly yard maintenance because of this experience. I highly recommend!"

"Pat and Midwest Landscaping did a great job on my yard. The plants had literally taken over and we had some poison ivy growing between our fence and the neighbor’s. In one morning they trimmed things that had gotten too big, moved plants to space them out better, weeded and got rid of the poison ivy problem. Really the best part was that they used all of our own plants, so we didn’t have to buy anything new. Whenever we need more help with the landscaping, we will be calling Pat."

"The wall build went well as a previous review that I made reflects. The wall (a little less than a year later) looks and functions well. The reason for this follow-up poor review is that the lawn repair was far from adequate for the price paid. An erosion blanket with seed that was placed on the back of the lot, never had seed under it, and I had to seed it and redo that this spring. (done myself and came out great). The repair (supposedly to pre-work condition) of the lawn where machinery had been driven during construction was subpar at best leaving high and low spots. They came out to fix just this week, and damaged a downspout drain that I had fixed after they left it damaged after their first repair. There were two other downspout drains that they did in the initial job that are an eyesore that I will have to redo myself as well. So that leaves three downspout repairs and significant landscaping repairs after a job that ran 10% over the estimate. They did offer discounts on "future" services and to come repair the downspout drain, but why would I want something else to go wrong when they come back. Cut my losses and choose not to use again. Top dollar does not always mean top quality. They are respectful and polite, but that does not make a job look nice."
