"I have had the team from Nice and Clean clean my home every other week for over 2 years. They do excellent work and are super nice and easy to work with. They put clean sheets on the beds, they clean all three bathrooms and the kitchen is always sparkling after they are done. I rely on their hard work to keep my home running smoothly."

"Marvin Lopez and his crew were consummate professionals. They showed up when they said they would, worked quickly, and cleaned up at the end of each day. Most importantly, I couldn't be happier with the results of the several projects they did, both interior and exterior. Marvin takes pride in the jobs he does and does it at a fair price. I will definitely hire him again!"

"Isabella and her crew of three other ladies arrived ahead of time. Services were performed. We did notice a couple of areas for improvement after the staff left. Specifically, there was some kind of black residue on the bathtub and floor corners were not cleaned adequately. For the monthly price quoted, I would hire them again. If hired again, I would call the problem areas to Isabella's attention & conduct a more thorough review prior to her departure so that everything can be resolved immediately.."

FAQs for post construction clean up projects in Woodbridge, VA

Plan on one hour of cleaning for every 100 to 200 square feet. That means a two-to-four-person crew will spend eight to 12 hours on a full-size home.

Your pro will walk the space first, size it up, and give you a more precise timeline to be sure every lofty ceiling, baseboard, and tight corner gets the same white-glove attention.

Cleaning fine dust after construction requires a combined approach of detailed dusting and high‐powered vacuuming. Begin by wiping high surfaces such as ceiling fans, walls, window sills, and countertops to eliminate deposited particles. Next, vacuum all floors, carpets, and hard surfaces and mop afterward to remove residual dust. Finally, clean HVAC returns, supply vents, and replace filters to ensure a completely dust‐free environment.

You’ll need safety gear and heavy-duty tools. At minimum, you should wear a respirator, eye protection, and work gloves. Then, bring in a HEPA-filter shop vac, wet mops, microfiber cloths, and a carpet shampooer to lift dust from every surface.

Pros also keep extra filters and trash bags on hand so they can swap them out mid-job and keep the cleanup running smoothly from start to finish.

Book your post-construction cleanup for one to two days after the last tool leaves the site. That 24- to 48-hour buffer lets dust settle so the crew can snag every speck in one visit.

Touch base with your contractor before you lock in a date; if their punch-list slips, you’ll want to shift the cleaning slot to avoid costly rescheduling and make sure the house is truly move-in ready.
