Once we were able to get another estimate to compare, I decided to move forward with Danny's, Ibarra Lawn & Landscape. We went back and forth on scoping and budgeting the job, all the while Danny was very responsive and accommodating. He delivered the cedar chips, did clean up of leaves and sticks, and applied the chips to the yard in one day. "I hired Castro Landscaping to clean up some yard waste and remove a few large stones from the yard. After a hand-shake agreement on the work and price I paid half upfront and the other half upon completion. The clean-up of the yard waste went smoothly and as agreed. However, he left the large stones citing he did not have room and would be back the next day to remove them. He did not return, I contacted him again and he said he would pick them up the next day. He has not been back, and he has not responded to my attempts to contact him. My assumption is he will never return. This is likely due to the fact that I paid the second half before he completed the job. The owner is a friendly person, but he did not complete the job as agreed."
