"This was a FANTASTIC engagement. Darrin got back to my initial inquiry quickly (it was early in the season) and came out to give me a estimate a couple of days later. He listened to what was important to us, came up with a design, and give us an estimate. The estimate was for three days of work (plus materials, disposal, etc). The workers showed up at 7:00AM Monday morning as promised, but I hardly noticed because they were so quiet! A tractor (with shovels) was used to scrape out the (disgusting) soil the builder had compacted when the house was built. We were shocked at how quiet they were. And they cleaned up the work area at least once a day, and always left with things cleaned up at the end of the day (dirt out of the street, etc). All the promised work was done, and in the quoted 3 days. The yard looks fantastic. The patio is perfect. No trash left behind. No problems at all! The only part of the work that wasn't done was applying polymeric sand to the patio due to weather. As stated, it is early in the season and has been raining every day. He said I could contract to have the sand installed later in the season, which I will take him up on!"

"They did beautiful work, and quickly. They removed at least a couple of tons of old brick planters, gravel, nasty old ground cloth. Installed gopher-proofing and sod to give a bit of paw-friendly yard. Pointed out details I had missed and suggested fixes. And they worked HARD. One hot day, two rainy days. "I called Tad from American Rose Garden last spring to discuss options to bring our lawn back to life as it was not looking the best! Tad arrived on time and was very easy to talk to. He was polite, personable and knowledgeable. He informed us of the pros and cons to option 1) re-seeding the entire lawn and option 2) laying sod. He kindly costed both methods out for us to help in our decision. After some consideration, we decided to have new sod laid and have the instant gratification of a nice lush green lawn. At the same time, we also had Tad and his team clean up the front and back yards, lay down fresh mulch and put in a few new shrubs. Tad’s team were polite and hard-working and they transformed our yard beyond recognition. Tad was rightly concerned with how our new lawn was going to get sufficient and regular watering, particularly with summer around the corner. He recommended getting an automatic timer and advised me about the type of sprinkler to buy and where to place it to ensure that all areas of the lawn would be watered. Tad later came back to install our new timer and help get our watering system set up correctly. Even though this took up most of his morning and involved a trip to the hardware store, he refused payment for this return visit. I was so impressed with this company from start to finish. Tad and his team were wonderful and I would not hesitate to recommend American Rose Garden to anyone looking to rejuvenate their landscaping."

"They totally cleared a portion of my property of blackberries, dead and volunteer trees & bushes and all stumps then added bark and some plants. It looks beautiful. Front lawn was sodded and back lawn thatched and reseeded. The crew were hard working, and courteous. They meticulously cleaned up all yard debris and left the yard spotless. The only reason I'm giving 4 star is because I want to see how reseeded portion of lawn does. All in all though I was impressed with their work."

Amado is incredibly knowledgeable about every detail that goes into getting your landscaping project to be exactly what you were hoping for, if not better than you'd pictured. We had a general sketch of what we wanted and he was able to tell us what was possible, what wasn't going to work and why, and how to improve things both to be more aesthetically pleasing and to reduce costs where possible. His crew were unfailingly polite and professional and, of course, very good at getting everything executed!
