Don't fall for it! I lived in a studio apartment and was in the process of a renovation so I ended up putting my stuff in their storage facility for a month. First, the move to the storage unit cost 50% more than the amount I was quoted (quoted 950, cost over 1300) even though everything was packed in boxes, bins, compression/zipped bags, luggage, etc. except for the furniture. For some stupid reason, they put my side tables in wardrobe boxes UNPROTECTED next to a metal shelf, underneath heavy (approximately 10lb. each) bags of clothing, etc. instead of blanket wrapping them. Because of their incompetence and carelessness, they broke a marble top side table from Anthropologie. They also weren?t at the storage facility when my movers came to pick up my stuff. "

"National Van Lines only sent us two guys to pickup our items. The delivery was much better with three guys. However, they packed our items pretty tight and things got crush a bit. So, the service was okay for the money we paid. "

However, the broker subcontracted the move to Presto Logistics, a company I was unfamiliar with at the time. I had engaged the broker, not Presto, and was unaware that they were acting as a broker themselves, which led to my surprise when a different company arrived. This situation quickly escalated when Presto Logistics increased my costs from $14,000 to nearly $30,000. They have not provided any documentation to justify this significant price hike, and they continue to refuse my requests for such paperwork. Consequently, I am left with no option but to file a complaint with the Department of Transportation to obtain the necessary documentation. Additionally, I have numerous damaged items, and without the required paperwork, I cannot file an insurance claim!"
