"The red oak hardwood in my Living room, dining room and kitchen was in dire need of a make-over. Adam and his crew did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. The floor had several dark spots that Adam wasn't sure would sand out. He suggested a dark stain to cover and took the time to demonstrate what a section would look like. Although I opted to keep the floor "natural", despite the variations, I appreciated his going the extra mile. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. The wood flooring was "repaired" in several spots before "refinishing". Their prep work, with plastic sheets and tape, covered all vulnerable areas for sanding dust. No need to clear the walls. The whole process took only 2 1/2 days before I could move back in and let my cats out of the back bedroom. Don't worry, I came through the back door to feed and water them If you are looking for excellent work at a reasonable price, look no further than Ontario Wood Flooring and Adam. "When the provider placed the new floor over the linoleum and old floor my husband asked him ( on several occasions) to remove the linoleum and not put new floor over it as stated in the contract. The provider said that if he had to do that he would rather take his tools and his crew and leave. The new floor installed is higher than the others because it was installed without removing what was under. A request for a second payment was made and we asked for the floor situation to be rectified and the linoleum removed. The provider has refused to do this and has stopped the project until the second payment is made. His intent is to leave floor as it is. We are happy to provide a second payment when the linoleum is removed and the new floor is installed. We also want to ensure that moldings purchased are also installed, floors are stained and pending closet is sanded and stained prior to the final payment ."
