"Could not have been better. We had the wretched stink of dead animal coming through our heat duct. I thought it was near one outlet because that was where the odor was. However, in speaking with Greg Wyatt, it was explained that the strength of the odor in a single vent meant nothing and that the carcass could be anywhere it the system. He was absolutely correct because when they came out they immediately discovered that a bird had gotten into the fan and been chewed up. He had quoted a price of $470 to clean our ducts, however because there was standing water under house and because the crawl space is so limited, they were not able to gain access to the ducts to do the cleaning. But they were able to clean the unit which they said was as dirty as they had seen. They cleaned and sanitized the unit and only charged $150! When the crew first arrived, my wife was concerned because they seemed really young - like high school. (I was not able to be home.) When they left, she said they really knew what they were doing, she "felt safe" and that they were really "sweet guys". She felt they were really looking out for our best interests. Now a little more background: After getting an estimate from Norrell (see my report for them) for over $3,000, I spoke with Greg Wyatt at Filter Service Co. I immediately felt I had a man I could trust from the start. He explained the pros and cons, mostly cons, of everything Norrell tried to sell me. He said he would be happy to install any of what they recommended but explained to me why he thought it was a waste of money."
