Even though it was a very small project (removing a small concrete pad ~20 sq ft), they came quickly to estimate (very reasonable rates), then came back quickly when I was ready for the work to be done. They were here for a total of 50 minutes--but only so long because they had to hand carry all the scrap out up a hill and they helped me gather up 16 years of a rock pile (collected from gardening) and took that away too for me. Would not hesitate to recommend. They are going to give me a quote on leveling the dips and cracks on my concrete front porch and making it lovely and durable with an epoxy finish."

"I hired this company from a list provided by Angi. I was looking for someone to repair my concrete, painted driveway. They first wanted to replace the driveway, but their price for that was $49,000. The only alternative they offered was to patch over the cracks and spalling on the existing concrete, and then repaint. That price was $8900, so I went with that option, with the understanding that they couldn't guarantee how well the patching would hold through the winter. I hired them based on their 5-star rating on the Angi list. They did an OK job with the patching, but there are two big problems with their paint job: 1) they didn't wait long enough to allow the patching to dry, so after two weeks the paint buckled over the patching, and 2) they didn't use a separate primer, so the paint didn't adhere well and peeled up in several places. I've called them several times. They keep promising to come back and fix these areas as a "courtesy", but they never show up."

I had them over to clean my gutters and I witnessed ladders slamming against the side of my house and they tore one of the edges from the corner of my roof with their step ladder. "Bob and his team did an outstanding job on a new patio installation and mailbox replacement. They were very helpful in recommending the patio’s size/shape, kind of pavers, the railing for the step-down from the house and tying the new patio to an older existing patio. They designed the mailbox post to be extra sturdy and built it on the spot. They moved sizeable rocks around the mailbox to protect it from potential snowplow mishaps. I am extremely happy with the results! The patio and mailbox look great! (Psst! I wish I had used them on earlier projects). Bob and his team were always professional and accommodating. It was a joy to work with them. They know what they are doing! I trust Carroll Landscaping to do an excellent job on future projects!"

"Clarksville Construction is the WORST contractor I have ever worked with. From day one, the project was a complete mess. The quality of the work was terrible, filled with mistake after mistake. The job involved installing a new door and replacing wood with PVC panels around the bay windows and the chimney box -- a relatively simple project, one would think. However, it was anything but simple for Clarksville Construction. Find a better contractor and save yourself all these problems. If you know of any, please add them in the comments. Here is a list of some of the problems encountered. 1. On the first day, the crew did not bring a generator, which caused the circuit breaker to trip repeatedly. 2. On the second day, a drill was left on top of the chimney, which was very dangerous. My neighbors noticed it. They also commented that the crew's performance led them to decide not to use Clarksville Construction for their future projects. 3.I observed that a section of cracked 2x10 wood.."

"We had problems with rainwater running down the driveway toward the house and invading our basement. We also needed a concrete pad for a garage shed we were going to install and a concrete patio in front of the house. Chris came out and listened to my husband and what he wanted. He made suggestions and they came up with a plan. We had obtained estimates from two other companies. Chris came in at the right price. He was in contact with us every step of the way, was onsite daily to make sure the work was proceeding as expected. Areas of the driveway were contoured to direct the water toward the drains which led to underground pipes and away from our property. The new retaining wall is solid. The drains that were placed in front of the concrete pad at the side of the house and in front of the concrete patio in front of the house work just as described. The concrete work is excellent. The crew was friendly and very professional. Chris bent over backwards to accommodate the many requests my husband had. We are very glad we went with Wells Paving and will definitely use them for sealing the drive as needed and for other similar projects."

Our rec. room carpet had a couple stains since we had moved in years before. I tried several times to remove the stain with over-the-counter stain removers without success."
