He discussed safety concerns, offered reasonable upgrades and even stopped the job and ran for better parts when he realized what he had purchased wasn’t as good as he would like. His quote for the work was very reasonable and he charged me EXACTLY what he quoted even after needing to exchange parts for me. A great electrician. Capable reliable and trustworthy! "Had an emergency situation with home electrical service being out and randomly contacted D and H Customer service was fantastic. They were at the home within a half hour and diagnosed the problem quickly. They also stated that the repair could be done the same day which was great since the temperature in the house was 49 degrees without power and furnace. They provided an estimate and once approved, they went right to work to obtain the components needed for complete replacement of service into the house from the utility drop down. Included new weather head, wiring, conduit, meter box, electrical panel and breakers. The work was completed within a few hours. The price sent us into sticker shock when we saw it, but told them to proceed anyways since we did not have time to see if anyone else would come out on an emergency basis and also have the repair done the same day. Bottom line: Even though the price is believed to be high, (granted, we had nothing to compare it to), we were happy with the quick response, the friendliness of the electricians and the quality of work. If your need is not an emergency, I would recommend a couple of other estimates for comparison. They did do a nice job though."
