"We found Top Notch Bath Refinishing on Angi, and requested a quote via Angi. Rafael was quick to respond in order to provide a quote and book the business, but after he had done the work, he was dismissive when we called back to address concerns we raised (Rafael re-glazed our bathtub in July 2023). He did a good job reglazing the tub and it looks nearly new (although a very small amount of the textured material on the floor of the tub seems to have ended up on the top edge), but not with the bead of sealer around the tub, between the tub and tile. Within a week, the sealer was pulling away from the edge between the tub and tile, creating pockets for moisture to seep in. It made the nice work he did on the tub itself look unfinished and messy, and we were concerned that we will have issues with mildew and moisture in the near future. We called Rafael back, as soon as we realized we had an issue, to ask him to come back to redo the sealer, but he brushed us off, and he has never come back to address our concerns. Now we will have to redo the sealer ourselves (which we thought we would do after he left, but realized that we did pay a reasonable amount of money to have him do this as part of the job). We requested the quote from Top Notch Bath Refinishing via Angi, but Rafael did not book the job via Angi, so Angi would not help us to resolve the issue. Another lesson learned, to be sure the job is booked via Angi, to get that added guarantee on the job."

"Sign contract April 4th 2025 was told would take two to three weeks this job was removing pressure treated and replacing with composite material we picked out samples from local building material outlet and showed so-called supervisor what we wanted was told he would be ordering them funny thing where we got the samples all items were in stock at least a week delay items had to be special ordered what we were told another special order for the railings another week delay called or message several times to correct mistakes July 4th is just around the corner job is still not complete"

"We researched for exterior painters on Angi’s List; Home Advisor and also looked through google reviews as well. There are a lot of painters out there, but we did narrow it down to five and obtained estimates from all. We selected Pete of Premier Painting and so happy we did. From the beginning he was timely with his follow up to our calls/emails; he provided an initial estimate based on information and photos and then met with us to do a more detailed estimate (which didn’t change, except for additional items that we decided to include). His estimate was competitive and we just had a “good feeling” that he would be the right fit for us and based on reviews, a good painter. Although we were initially going to be scheduled for Spring of 2022, at the last minute Pete had an opening in the schedule for the end of this season and began in September. His work is great; he sprayed and brushed our home and when he sprayed he back brushed for complete coverage; he is neat; cleans up each day; is organized in his approach on how and what he painted so as the front was done first both trim and body so from the road it looked complete. During the course of his being here, we ended up making some changes in terms of stain treatment for our deck, which resulted in more sanding; adding an item or two and he has always been professional and agreeable. In addition to painting the entire exterior - our deck balusters were all stained brown and he is painting them all white - pretty labor intensive but the finished product is just what we hoped for. For various reasons he ended up painting our home by himself and he is here every day - 6 days a week, weather permitting; is communicative if he won’t be here for weather related reasons - and he even returned our dog when he was leaving and found her down the road. A pleasure to work with; we highly recommend.--"

"Mark was very friendly, professional, responsive and finished the job a timely manner. He gave us a fair estimate and was able to accurately describe the scope of the project up front. We had just bought a 1967 ranch that needed updating and Mark and his team removed some paneling and layers of old painted wallpaper from almost every room in the house, repaired the walls and painted our new house to get it ready for us to move in and make our home. He was also knowledgeable about helping us choose the right paint color and finish. He even stood by his work and helped us fix a snafu weeks later in the bathroom due us not having a working fan. "I hired this company for painting my kitchen cabinets and was very upset with the service I received. From the beginning communication was poor, I was not told any updates and my house was left unlocked everyday with lights left on after the team left. When the project was done I had to have them come back to fix the overspray and paint splatter on my walls. My stove and counters were not covered when painting resulting in paint getting into these surfaces. The painting edges on all cabinets and on the trim was messy and all over the place in which I was told to wipe off with a cloth. My basement was left a mess and the painters helped themself to pieces of wood they assumed was scrape to use as painting supports- they ended up being pieces of a personal project I was working on. My wood floors were scratched by them trying to remove paint from my floors. At the end of this I was told this was normal practice and to hire a cleaning crew. Felt disrespected during this entire project."

"Mauri and his team were great from start to finish. So good in fact I re-hired him for a 2nd job. He painted 6 rooms in my house after an addition/renovation and I hired him again 6 months later to paint the outside of my house.  Inside of the house was all brand new items: trim, doors, walls, etc. For the outside, in addition to painting I wanted rotting wood replaced, porch railings fixed and new gutters. House now looks top notch, both inside and out. Any big project will cost money if you want it done right, and I feel Mauri's pricing is the middle ground price you expect, which gives great value to the job you receive in return. More importantly, both Mauri and his team are nice and really do care about doing a good job, which is a unique bonus you dont find too often. Would hire again!"
