"The electrician who came out was great--punctual, professional, worked efficiently, methodically, and was extremely thorough.  The kitchen light was fixed very quickly.  The porch light issue took quite a while to figure out, and in the process, he went through basically our whole electrical system (discovered a junction box had been covered up when the porch room had been divided at some point in the nebulous past); he corrected the issue with minimal damage to the wall.  Very pleased with the work, very fair price considering the amount of time/effort it took to diagnose.  Really appreciate the prompt invoicing via email, too--very convenient.  "

"We have used Outdoor Excapes on several occasions over the years, and they are a fantastic company! Our original concrete steps and patio in the front entrance had been patched numerous times over the years but was now beyond repair. We had the option to remove all of it and just pour new concrete, but we decided to spend a little more on the project to really improve the appearance of the house. <br /> We worked with Dave Hoyt at Outdoor Excapes, and he did a superb job providing ideas and designs to fit our preferences. He was patient with how long we spent working on the plan for the project, and he was always willing to give honest feedback when our ideas wouldn't turn out well. After several meetings, we finally decided on the design and contracted them to do the work last summer. <br /> The Outdoor Excapes crew was equally fantastic! They did a great job constructing the trap rock boulder retaining wall along the driveway, and they meticulously built the walkway and steps leading from the driveway to the front patio. Their attention to detail is quite remarkable, and their guys work incredibly hard to make it turn out as clean and professional as possible. Once the construction was completed, they added path and landscape lighting, planted a few trees to soften the appearance of the stone steps, and reseeded the lawn. <br /> We really couldn't be happier with how the project turned out, and the neighbors are really impressed, as well! When the construction was happening, we had a steady stream of traffic driving by to see the new changes happening at the house. "<p>Two of the light replacements were an easy swap, the third was a challenge because it was controlled by two separate switches and it was 1926 wiring. The pendant lights were a nightmare for the journeyman. Took him all day and he felt badly about the high bill as a result. The previous owner got creative in how they created the soffit which resulted in the electrician constantly running into unexpected barriers. The electrician persevered though and figured it out. Our soffit looked like swiss cheese but we had painters coming in to do repair on another project so it all worked out. </p> <br />"

He arrived promptly, and went above and beyond the call of duty with respect to some of the repairs. I asked about various ways of doing it, and he gently explained how he could do it, but it might damage the house. I am very grateful."
