Customers say: Quick response

"Now that all is said and done I am very happy with the performance and quality of the work that was done. However, due to the experience with scheduling and the many confusing and incorrect things I was told during the process, I don’t know if I would use them again. I was told initially that they were two weeks out and would put me on the schedule never heard back from them about that. I called a day before the two week time frame to see if they had us on the schedule and was told they would check with scheduling. The next day at 8:30 AM, I was called and told they were on their way. Even though the lines had not been marked and nothing else that was supposed to happen prior to the job had been done. When they arrived I was asked where all our buried lines were. We just purchased the home and hadm’t Been in it a week so I had no idea. I was told they avoid writhing four feet of where lines could be so it would be okay. Halfway through the digging people showed up and marked the lines. Despite the lines being marked they used the matchine right through the markings and cut the AT&T lines twice. They spliced and taped them back together, but still. After that they left the hole open for inspection over the holiday weekend where the storms flooded it and it ended up being an open hole and dug up line in our yard for five days. All of this when we were promised it would be a two day job. We were thanked for our patience but there was never an owning up to falling short or an apology. Also, they claimed they would sod our bald patches in our yard and then when they were installing they disn’t And told us they would put us on the schedule to come back. I doubt we will ever hear from them again."

"Fortress Trucking has handled nearly all of our materials delivery (sand, gravel, dirt, etc) and dump truck hauling for my construction business for the last 10 months. They are highly communicative, very dependable, and always do a great job. I have been managing the heavy construction division of our family business for 30 years and have worked with a number of trucking companies. In contrast to some of the larger trucking companies in the OKC metro, Fortress Trucking always does what they say they will do. ?Fail? is not in their vocabulary. We plan on using them for years to come."

"Chino’s did another great job for me! I had them do landscaping back in April, (which was awesome), but after hiring a company that did a horrible job with my turf and pavers, I asked Chino if they could fix it. Yes! They fixed it. I will use them again! I had used a different company that I found on Angi, but their job was not professional and after their boss would not come look, I hired Chino’s! They work hard, get the job done when they say it will be done! I will recommend to anyone, Thank you Chino’s Lawncare LLC"

FAQs for landscape soil, sand, mulch and rock delivery projects in Yukon, OK

Topsoil packs your garden with the nutrients plants crave, improves soil structure, and lets water drain at just the right pace. The result is a welcoming planting bed that makes routine chores—like weeding and aerating—far easier. In short, quality topsoil boosts fertility, builds stronger root systems, and keeps your landscape looking vibrant season after season.

If you’re tackling a large area and have room to store extra soil, bulk delivery almost always wins on price. Bags cost more per cubic yard but arrive clean, sealed, and easy to haul around tight spaces or raised beds. Match the option to your square footage, storage space, and muscle power, and you’ll find the most cost-effective and hassle-free choice for your project.

First, measure the square footage you want to cover, then decide on a layer—most gardens thrive with 4 to 8 inches of fresh topsoil. A 40-pound bag spreads over 12 square feet at a depth of one inch. Multiply your area by the desired depth (in inches), divide by 12, and you’ll know exactly how many bags to load in the cart. Using this quick formula guarantees even coverage and a healthy, vibrant garden bed.
