"We used Grace Builders for a roof that needed replaced. They had the best customer service and a very fair price, combined with good reviews from others who had used them. This all led to me choosing them for my roof and they did a wonderful job. They came out to assess my roof the day I called (or the next day, either way it was fast), and after I agreed and chose my shingles, they were working on my roof the very next week. The workers arrived early in the morning and worked a long (hot) day, finishing my roof in one go, and they did a very good job. It looks great, they even were able to remove some old pipes and other no longer used stuff from the roof while they were up there. "The old peeling painted surfaces were expertly and seamlessly repaired. Shai's workman was an artist, hand-mixing the materials to match exactly the old surfaces, so it all looks like new. The water damage was a longer and more complicated process, involving assessment of water still within the wall (yes), asbestos testing ( positive), and abatement, all before Above & Beyond could start work. When they did, it went as smoothly as possible:The men moved all my bedroom furniture, which includes heavy 250-year-old chests, took down 10-foot-tall curtains and pelmets: scraped and evened out the cement floor, adding a coat of cement, replacing insulation and drywall, installing LVT flooring, and painting. Then they replaced all the furniture. Shai, himself, is professional, experienced, and knowledgeable. These traits filter down to his crews. There were a number of ways I could go with my roof, and Zach was very helpful in sorting out the options. I had many questions and he was very patient in answering them all! The Green Mountain crew that did the work was amazing. They worked incredibly long and hard every day, and they got the job done much quicker than I expected. They also did a great job cleaning things up at the end of each day and at the end of the job, which was no small task since they had to remove two old roofs. Almanzo oversees the jobs in progress, and he came by every day to see how things were going and to give me an update.
