"I chose Kalamazoo Handymen Services mainly due to the excellent communication Mark showed from the very beginning. It gave me the confidence that he not only listens to his customers, but also would respond to email, phone, and text messages in a timely manner. This is a rare quality from not only a handyman, but also most contractors I have worked with in the past. They were hired to install base trim, chair rail, and crown molding, as well as 2 bifold doors and a half wall cap which was just over 1000 square feet worth in a finished basement. He sub'd out the crown and the painting which I was perfectly OK with, and informed me of his decision to do so ahead of time while providing a quote for the entire project. Mark and Ryan showed up early every day and worked between 6-8 hours each day until the job was finished. The entire project took about 2 weeks, give or take. If they had any questions or had any issues, he was quick to get in touch with me. Alternatively, they were both very patient with me and all of the questions/changes I had thrown at them.
