"The move went exceptionally well.  Email and phone communication prior to the move was responsive and professional.  We had a written estimate of costs prior to booking the move.  They were flexible with dates, and had a liberal "change date" policy without penalty (with sufficient advance notice).  The movers called the morning of the move and told us they would be about 15 minutes late due to organizing the truck.  I appreciated the call.  They arrived exactly when promised and got to work.  3 movers worked on our house and were professional, organized, and hard-working.  Once they - and the truck - arrived at the new house, they got right to work unpacking.  They were thoughtful and organized on the move-in.  We had a couple challenging pieces of furniture to get into the basement, and they were creative and determined to get the pieces in place.  In the end, the move (including travel time from Ballard to West Seattle) took less time than the estimate, and we were charged less accordingly.  Everyone was professional, cheerful, fun, and hard working, and made our day easy and smooth! <br />"

"I called several large and small moving companies before I found Hire a Helper and the others were are either unwilling to help me or just plain didn t call me back. We had a large kiln (about900lbs) that had been delivered to us but not put place. I found Hire a Helper and within a week I had a crew out to my house with a pallet jack, ready and able to pull the kiln out my my carport and into my shed. The crew was friendly and professional, they even removed the bracing 2x4s packing the kiln for us The price was a bit higher than expected but considering the speed &amp; efficiency with which they did the job - and the fact that I had no other way to move this behemoth- it was well worth it!"
