"I hired Adrian to complete my front yard. He was friendly, had references and his price was very fair. He did a beautiful job and I am beyond happy with the results. He’s also organized and explained things clearly. "

"Bucks serviced my pond and after seeing the beautiful ponds they built on their property I hired them to remodel mine. Once finished my liner showed and soil erosion would leak into pond from the rain and sprinklers. After complaining profusely they would say they’d fix it but it’s not. My son and I’m have to do this. Furthermore because the dirt went into the pond the water became very unhealthy for the fish and Bucks wouldn’t change it out. I started with nine koi and ended with three sick koi. I would beg the manager to help me with the health and got nowhere. Finally Bucks quit. I have had to fix their mess and my fish (one just had hook worm)."

For over 30 years Kaylor Landscape has been perfecting the art of capturing people's dreams and bringing them to reality in lush outdoor environments. At Kaylor Landscape we know how special your home is to you and we also know how hard it is to find a landscape company who can interpret your dreams. We understand how different each client's personality is; formal, casual, refined or rugged, every clients personality must be reflected in the final overall outdoor environment that surrounds their home.\n\n To achieve this goal, we meet with each client and listen to your ideas and dreams. As you share your vision with us and talk about the different features you would like to have included in your landscape, we begin listing key features that will be necessary to bring the setting to life. Such as; a mountain setting with hills, boulders, streams and flowers, or for a tropical setting, with palms, ponds and sweet flowering vines, or spatial estates with rich walls, formal paths and gardens. Next we talk about things such as swimming pools, gazebo's, covered outdoor cooking or eating areas. And we end by talking about ways to showcase all of this beauty with the proper outdoor lighting.\n\nNext we design a conceptual plan of the project to show you how everything will lay out. From there we give you a cost estimate on what it would take to complete the job. We itemize our pricing so that you can see the different options that you will have to choose from. Then we keep in close contact with you all the way through the construction of the project. Once the job is complete we watch over the finished project through the warranty period to help ensure that your landscape will look it's best.

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Bakersfield, CA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
