At his initial visit, John listened to my ideas, then gave me some suggestions, which I took, that added a lot of visual interest and elegance to the job. During the installation of a raised garden bed, expansion of another bed, edging and installing an area of river rock, edging and mulching around 7 trees, removal of 3 bushes and planting of a lilac, and leveling and seeding with grass in several places, John and members of his crew checked with me often to make sure I liked what they were doing. They worked quickly and efficiently - they were done in one day - and I was absolutely delighted by the end result. Frankly, it looked much better than I had imagined. "Ken's did a great job. Job took 3 days. First two days they regraded the old stone driveway & replaced some of the stone with new run-of-crush and compacted the stone. The last day they put down 2.5" of #3 binder as a base coat. They will return next year to put down a top coat. The workers were pleasant and used care around the landscape. They cleaned up after completing the job. Not cheap but seemed to be a quality outfit."
