What I appreciated the most was that they repaired and painted the Kitchen first, making it useable within the first day. They protected all my hardwood and carpets, cleaned up each day making the home so useable each evening. "MQ Painting was very professional in every aspect of the work they completed for us. They power washed every surface prior to painting. All surfaces were sanded or scraped as needed. Two coats of stain we applied to all surfaces. The garage doors were stripped, stained and varnished. The deck railings were completely replaced and painted on a very large deck. Originally, Jose thought only a portion of the railing spindles needed to be replaced. As the job proceeded it was apparent that all spindles and railing wood needed to be replaced. The only additional charge was for the materials, not for labor even though every spindle needed to be individually cut from larger pieces of lumber. MQ was the only painting contractor who bid on our paint job who was willing to do all the woodwork repairs needed on the deck. Other contractors said we'd need to have someone repair the deck and then they would paint it. We appreciated working with just one contractor. Their painting and carpentry work was top notch. All workers were neat, punctual and conscientious. All materials and tools were picked up and stored at the end of every work day. I discovered MQ Painting through Angie's List. He power washed old stain off, fixed and repaired bad and rotten wood, re-stained the desk. "Our work was all inside. The painters completed all work in an efficient and timely manner. They were friendly and thoroughly professional. One area needed additional coverage and it was done without any delay, and at no additional cost. My wife and I are pleased with the way the job was done. "The salesman arrived on time to give me an estimate on the job. I signed the contract in June and provided them with my color choices. Then it began to rain almost every day. Kathy from CertaPro kept in touch with me as the date was pushed back due to the constant rain. On October 6th the job supervisor Justin called me and asked if they could do the job the next day on October 7th.  On October 7th the crew arrived at 8am as promised. <br /> Justin told me that my color choices were not given to him. However Justin had a color matching device that he used on an unexposed painted area. We did not want to change the color so the color matching was the best way to go. It did a much better job of matching our paint than I could do. In fact, if they had used the colors I had originally chosen the house would have looked terrible. The color matching device really saved me from making a poor color choice. <br /> The crew worked without a break from 8am until completion at 3pm. They were all very courteous and friendly. They cleaned up everything. I never expected such a thorough clean up. The paint job was great!
