"Within 48 hours of our contacting United Freight, the car was picked up at a convenient location. The driver responded to all of our calls and dropped the car off within the range of dates selected. Very professional at loading and unloading. No damage to the car that we could find. Very happy with the service. We had first tried another brokerage but after a month they still had not found a driver to transport the car. The United Freight rep was very clear about how the process works."

"Wonderful experience with Method Organized!! Steve was able to come out in just a few days and give me a quote on the work I wanted done. He worked with me to get what I wanted done down to the budget I wanted. He made some great suggestions to improve on the ideas I had. Mike and Eli were the install team. They were super! They were on time, very polite and got everything on this big job done by 3 pm that afternoon. They cleaned up behind themselves, even vacuuming the floor around the new shelves. Mike and Eli noticed a problem with the shelves that were going on the wall near my pull down attic steps. They told me about the problem and explained my options- a potential problem solved because they were so observant and careful of the plans when doing the install. I love the shelves and Murphy bed! They make my guest room so much more functional!! I highly recommend Steve and his team!!!"

"Easy to get an appointment and readily took care of installing 10 new smoke detectors. Wore a mask and was friendly and professional. Would hire again. Time of arrival delayed due to vehicle issues (which I know you can't plan for) so service was not at the time I had planned but I made it work. Promptly notified me of the delay and worked with my schedule for later that same day. I would use again."

"The modern version of “You get what you pay for” is more accurately phrased “You don’t get what you don’t pay for.” You might find a lower price for your project, but you won’t find a better value than Tough Builders. Our project was a complete bathroom overhaul. Mr. Hector Vasquez, Tough Builders Project Manager, came to our home before demolition to discuss scope and take measurements. He listened to us as we described the materials and effects we wanted to create. As we discussed options, Mr. Vasquez took careful notes to ensure an accurate proposal that specified important details, including what materials, what fixtures, who would procure which items, and on what schedule. Following separate demolition, Tough Builders took over the space with sheathing on the walls, raw subflooring, and no ceiling. We discovered that the selected sink and toilet would require significant plumbing modifications since modular housing often takes shortcuts such as routing plumbing through the floor instead of the walls. Mr. Vasquez accurately scoped the required work and submitted a change proposal to cover the labor and materials. Everything was up front and approved before the modification work started. No surprises. The sequencing of work was very well-planned. The right workers with the right skills arrived on time and prepared to work. The plumbing was corrected with minimal interruption to our water service. The wall boards were installed precisely and sealed exceptionally well in the shower enclosure area. The paint team spent the time to ensure that the surfaces to be painted were smooth and free of any defects. The shower tiles were precisely squared and well anchored. The flooring and fixtures went in last and brought an already beautiful space to life. Every single craftsman who came into our home worked diligently, quietly, and professionally. They respected our home and our family as the project progressed. Each team thoroughly cleaned the inside work area, the outside preparation area, and the path from one to the other. Every single person from Tough Builders was respectful, courteous, and trustworthy. They answered questions when asked and offered opinions when requested. We were completely confident in the quality of the work that was being done. Tough Builders puts in the extra effort to ensure their customers are delighted with the finished project."

"Everyone in the company was professional and helpful. The only problems encountered were caused by the Prince George's county permit office and the weather. The original proposal was for excavation and external waterproofing. The county required an external French drain, back fill with gravel up to one foot from the surface, and an external sump pump with an external electrical outlet. These extra requirements from the county added about 50% above the estimate to the final total. <br /> The crew spent a few days excavating a narrow trench about three feet wide and down to the basement foundation. We have a back deck and fencing, so some deck and fence posts had to be removed during the work. They patched cracks in the foundation walls, cut back a tree root that was threatening to damage the wall, and added a footer to the bottom edge of the basement walls. <br /> Then waterproofing liquid was applied to the basement walls up to ground level and a heavy rubber-like fabric was hung on the walls. The fence and deck posts were replaced, and the French drain pipe was laid on top of the footer. The French drain pipes led to the sump pump, which was then hooked up to an preexisting downspout drain that was also buried until it reached the front yard. <br /> The project took about three weeks because of weather delays (the project began in early March, and it snowed a couple of times) and because the footer needed to be added to the foundation. <br /> We had to hire an electrician to install the exterior outlet, so we had to wait another 10 days or so before the county could do the final inspection and approve the permit. Chamberlin Washington was there every step of the way. We couldn't have asked for better support from the owner to the crew members, some of whom worked two weekends to finish the job after unexpected weather delays. <br />"
