"Elcon Electric is really a 5 Star company. I rarely leave a review but my experience with Elcon was exceptional, amazing and the only electrical company I would recommend. If you live in FL you are well aware that quality electricians and companies are not easy to find. When I was looking for a electrician I looked on Angie’s list [not always reliable] I goggled reviews on several companies and narrowed it down to 3. It came down to two pretty quickly. I spoke with someone in the office at Elcon, she was very nice, she explained the whole process, the amount per hour depending on a 1 or 2 men job. I told her I would think it over and get back to her. The other company I was considering the owner/electrician made the job I needed to be done seem so complicated that I was confused on who to hire. I have used so many bad contractors over the years that one develops a ‘fear’ to hiring anyone. My grandfather was a master electrician and I am well aware the danger of hiring someone who might not know what they are doing. A few weeks passed I still had not made a decision, when my phone rang it was the lady I had originally spoke to at Elcon. She said she just wanted to check if I had my electrical issues fixed? I was so very impressed with the ‘follow up call’…. to me that showed great customer service. I think her name was Mary I hope Elcon can check on that because she is a valuable employee. Roman is the electrician that came to my home. THE BEST!!! He was amazing, very professional and very thorough at fixing and repairing and replacing our fixtures. Roman addressed all of our concerns and both my husband and felt secure that all was done correctly and perfectly. We have 4 brick posts in the front of our house and two of the lamps weren’t working. Roman had to come back today to fix that [2 man job] as the buried cable had to be found and repaired. I did not think think I could be anymore impressed with this company…then I met Rusty. He was great, amazing! Both Rusty and Roman worked hard in the hot sun and kept digging till they found the cable. My posts lights work great! Elcon will be the only electrical company I will ever use from now on. My neighbors know I rarely , if ever, recommend anyone.
