"American Home replaced my roof and siding, porch windows and some add-on exterior lighting. One of the reasons I chose AHR was not just due to the best price, they came in line with other estimates I received, but because they included things with their final price that similar companies had as add-ons at an extra cost such as the dumpster and gutter system. I did not know what to expect as this was the first time I've had these things replaced. My rep John was awesome, he was professional, friendly and accommodating, and was able to work with me on the spot vs. "I have to check back to the owners" which I got from other companies. "Came home from work one day to find a large section of my retaining wall tumbled over into my neighbor's yard. The wall was originally built by the builder before we moved in mid 2004. The wall started to lean slightly within 5 years as it was not built with drainage in mind. This time around, I wanted the retaining wall build the right way. I called Charles and Son Construction & Landscaping to get an estimate because I prefer someone local and was pleased with their online reviews. Carlos arrived as scheduled to write up the estimate. He immediately suggested re-using the blocks since they seemed to be in decent condition and would save money. I met with another company the day prior and was originally planning on getting a 3rd estimate. After getting Carlos' very reasonable estimate and asking a few question regarding timeline, I approved the estimate and was ready to move forward.
