"Was able to get quote for replacing a concrete step and walkway based on cell phone photos and a few measurements. Bid came in $500 below the others. Project manager (Chris) keep me in the loop about delays, but the work crew still came in the following Monday and got the job done in one day, and also cleared some brush without extra charge. "The work was done well and price was fair and as promised. It was nice to be able to have one company do both the brick and concrete repairs after a sewer line replacement ripped up part of our sidewalk and a decorative brick wall that tied into the corner of our house. It took a few months for him to work us in (which he warned us could happen) because his company was quite busy this summer. Coincidentally, we realized the owner had rebuilt our chimney 10 years earlier when he was working for another company. Chimney is still in great shape."

"The county had purchased a part of our property as part of a new bridge construction.  As part of this effort they are going to replace part, but not all, of our existing gravel driveway with a relocated asphalt driveway.  However, we learned after the construction by the county had started that we would need to hire an independent contractor to convert the remaining existing gravel driveway to asphalt if we wanted that done.  The work needed was to convert the remaining section of gravel driveway between an existing cement slab and where the 'yet to be installed' county provided driveway would end.  After researching options, we selected Delello and Sons.  We worked primarily with Kyle Delello.  He and his company were great.  They coordinated with the county to gain access, and got in before the county started work on their portion of our driveway - thus elimination the potential for damage to the new county provided driveway had it been done later..  In the process, they regraded the area, and installed a drain and outlet pipe to eliminate a water build-up problem that we've had at a corner end of the cement slab.  The work was done over the Oct 9-11 time frame.  Since then we have had several heavy rains, but no more water puddling up like before.  All the workers were very professional, and willingly answered any questions that I had.  We will definitely look to hire this company in the future for any additional work of this nature. <br />"

"The work went quickly and smoothly.  I appreciated that Don was there both days over 95% of the time.  He was available for quick questions. <br /> It was a very hot period of weather but his guys worked hard and finished up in the time that was projected. <br /> it looks great, with the only issue being that the color of the first pour of concrete in the driveway is different than that poured the next day.  Not a huge issue, but we were not expecting that.  We have never had any major concrete work done like this before so it was a real learning experience that went well. <br /> We should have had some clarification with Don regarding when payment was due.  We scrambled around to get the money together to pay, after finding out he needed payment immediately upon completion of the work.  It worked out, but was a bit of a surprise and rush as we thought we could get him payment, next day, as his office is a 5-10 minute drive from our home. <br /> Again, not a big issue, most important was the quality of the work and that was great! <br />"
