Customers say: Quick response

"Precision Dirt Works recently completed a second major project on my property and I canâ t say enough good things about them! Their attention to detail, commitment to quality, and genuine care for their customers is unmatched. I recommend them to everyone I know that has upcoming excavation projects and will continue to hire them for any projects that I have. Thanks again Arlyn and Kenny!"

"The work was perfect. Eli was great to work with. We remodeled two bathrooms, one complete destruction, the other convert bathtub to shower. Eli's employees were great too. They were polite and professional and did excellent work. In the end I have two quality bathrooms. I would work with him again. ⁷"

"Stay away. We gave Bruce a large deposit for this job. He was unable to continue working after the 1st day on site. Leaving us completely upended with an old door removed and a new door partially installed but not secured. He dodged our phone calls and texts for days. Claimed he had a stroke while on the job and that is why he could not finish. When confronted about the overpayment on the deposit he asked us to invoice him. We have not been able to get ahold of BRuce since. He has not answered his phone or responded to any communication. Stay away from this company."

FAQs for post construction clean up projects in Eugene, OR

Plan on one hour of cleaning for every 100 to 200 square feet. That means a two-to-four-person crew will spend eight to 12 hours on a full-size home.

Your pro will walk the space first, size it up, and give you a more precise timeline to be sure every lofty ceiling, baseboard, and tight corner gets the same white-glove attention.

Cleaning fine dust after construction requires a combined approach of detailed dusting and high‐powered vacuuming. Begin by wiping high surfaces such as ceiling fans, walls, window sills, and countertops to eliminate deposited particles. Next, vacuum all floors, carpets, and hard surfaces and mop afterward to remove residual dust. Finally, clean HVAC returns, supply vents, and replace filters to ensure a completely dust‐free environment.

You’ll need safety gear and heavy-duty tools. At minimum, you should wear a respirator, eye protection, and work gloves. Then, bring in a HEPA-filter shop vac, wet mops, microfiber cloths, and a carpet shampooer to lift dust from every surface.

Pros also keep extra filters and trash bags on hand so they can swap them out mid-job and keep the cleanup running smoothly from start to finish.

Book your post-construction cleanup for one to two days after the last tool leaves the site. That 24- to 48-hour buffer lets dust settle so the crew can snag every speck in one visit.

Touch base with your contractor before you lock in a date; if their punch-list slips, you’ll want to shift the cleaning slot to avoid costly rescheduling and make sure the house is truly move-in ready.
