"Greystone did a fantastic job designing and installing our stamped concrete patio and sitting wall.  The crew was professional and they made every effort to minimize the impact to the rest of my front yard.  My wife and I were extremely happy with the service and quality of the patio.  Highly recommend them for any concrete work you may have.   There price was very reasonable and the quality can't be beat. <br />"

"Was there on time in the am. Dumped the wood on the driveway (moved the basketball hoop so it wouldn't be hit). All in all they were in and out quickly and very professional. Haven't used the wood as of yet- have a supply from last year. But the wood seems like it will burn good- very dry. <br />"

"The crew was here as promised and worked very hard..The backyard was in dire need of a complete renovation. They did all work as promised as well as a follow-up to make sure  the grass was coming up as expected. There were a few spots that needed additional attention and the company, as promised, took care of those area's. The customer needs to do their part, such as the appropriate watering schedule, for the company to stand behind the work they perform, which is certainly reasonable. I would highly recommend the company and would use them again."

"So like a number of other house, we had sinking front concrete steps. Our sizable front stairs had sunk about 6 inches and pull the attached walk with it. It got to the point we just had to have them replaced. I checked out various options for having them mud-jacked, but my concern was that that would not really fix the issue for the long term and they would just end up sinking again. After getting several bids we went with Tavis at Quality Concrete and Masonry. They weren't the cheapest bid but seemed the most trustworthy and had the best plan to make sure the problem did not re-occur. Tavis started on a Tuesday and was essentially work complete by Saturday. His work was very high quality. Because of the site, amount of concrete, etc. he used 1.5" rebar instead of the standard 0.5" rebar to tie the steps to the house. ( I've never even seen 1.5" rebar before.) Site was left clean each day and the final product exceeded our expectations."

"Last year, we needed to replace our 60 year old concrete driveway, and got a few quotes from different companies. Bright (Steve in particular) provided a great, detailed quote, and was very knowledgeable and responsive to our questions, so we went with Bright. We are glad we did. The driveway turned out great. This year, we needed to replace a flagstone walkway and patio, and went with Bright again. Bright's construction team was meticulous, courteous, and responsive to our questions and requests. It was clear from watching Bright's masons work that they took pride in their craftsmanship. The patio and walkway look great."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Front Royal, VA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
