"Fabulous experience! could not have gone better. Communication spot on. Arrived promptly for estimate and emailed it immediately. they charge $600 and had other estimates for $900, $100 and $1400 for same job! sent out Miss utility and once that was complete they were ready to c ome out the next day. they had to push is to one day later due to an unexpectedly long job but they came the next day as promised. They communicated with me by phone, email and text to let me know off the schedules and any chances. Did the work with a team of 5 and large, well-kept machines. removed the stump and removed all the debris and place was in perfect condition (minus our dead tree) when they left. final payment request came in promptly and was easy to pay online. I would hire them again without any hesitation. VERY happy with the company."

"Shifflett Tree Service did an outstanding job on the trimming of our long-neglected trees and bushes. One boxwood was removed, azaleas trimmed and thinned, trees shaped up. Changed the entire facade of the house (the neighbors will be happy!). Especially noteworthy is that they came out in the big snow - much appreciated & that prevented even more damage under the weight. Why wait until spring? Get it done now and they will come right out to give an estimate and then return to do the actual work. Family-run and very easy to communicate with - they don't disappear - and they do a very professional job! A real gem in the DC & MD area...."

"A bush was planted that had little yellow flowers annually. I don’t go out into my backyard ever since the exit is in the basement. Years later I saw the little bush grown like Jack and the beanstalk. It was hanging over the fence into my neighbors yard which I knew was not acceptable. I filled out a request on Angi’s almost immediately I heard from Wilfer with Pro Trees who I made an appointment with. He came gave me a reasonable price so I hired the company and scheduled the day & time. They came on time, did a great job on my tree which could have looked oddly uneven, yet didn’t because they definitely knew what they were doing. "I put a request out and Gordon responded in minutes. He provided a free estimate the same day and was able to complete the job within 36 hours of calling him to book. I am very pleased with the results! Gordon trimmed tree limbs away from the roof, cut branches off of our magnolia tree that were damaged during the recent snow storm. Additionally, he a beautiful job pruning our Holly and other bushes at the front of the house. The icing on the cake was he was able to offer his services for half the price of two other competitors.
