Because Jeremy provided the daily updates, he was able to share why the improvements were needed and important. He always answered my questions clearly and concisely. The SHP billing approach was clear so there were never any surprises. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonably the project ended up costing. Observing Jeremy and the SHP teamwork was amazing. I have never seen such a talented, dedicated, caring, and creating team. They worked with amazing efficiency and effectiveness. I can attest, based on other projects we have taken on, this project would have taken much longer than the five short weeks (including Christmas and below freezing temperatures) this took. The quality of their work was remarkable and the pride in their workmanship was always evident. The extra touches he included in the project and the counsel he provided gave us 100% confidence that he would do what was right and that he, and SHP, would go above and beyond. The house is beautiful, and Jeremy and SHP will always hold a place in our hearts. They are an absolute gift, and they are now considered part of our family. I did not know Jeremy before this project, but I now count him as a friend. "Dennis was great to work with. Had a property in Danbury with a huge retaining wall that the previous homeowner built and failed (not to code). Dennis came in and was honest about having to redo the entire thing (which was the right call).. He taught me about the type of block to use, geogrid spacing, how important the base prep was, as well as drainage, picked the colors of the blocks and caps to match my rental, sent me photo updates along the way, was extremely professional. My father oversaw the job steps and has around 40 years of experience in commercial real estate in midtown Manhattan. He has seen just about everything from failing foundations on a 40 story building, entire high rise floods, and buildings being brought out of the ground.
